I've driven 20 min from a masseuse to the chiropractor with the seat heat turned on to keep my back muscles loosened up for the chiropractor. It was way too hot for seat heaters and I had the AC cranked.

It's an odd thing. I see myself in the mirror, but in pictures it is my father.

I will be looking for one or two of those to restore and keep in my shop (maybe sell one of them0 along with a old Coke (or Pepsi) bottle vending machine.

My mom and sisters looked funny in curlers. I always wondered how they slept with those things on their head.

For 25¢

I bought all my cigarettes in college from the vending machine in the student commons ($1 by that time). Then sat down in the nearest comfortable chair and smoked them while I did my homework. They had sand-filled ash trays next to the lounge chairs in the commons, and bolted to the wall outside the lecture halls so you could put your cigarette out on the way into class.

In my 9th grade science class, the teacher walked through the room with a small beaker of mercury. He would pour a small amount into our hand, letting us roll it around, feeling the weight of it. We then let it roll back into the beaker.
