I've driven 20 min from a masseuse to the chiropractor with the seat heat turned on to keep my back muscles loosened up for the chiropractor. It was way too hot for seat heaters and I had the AC cranked.

For 25¢
I bought all my cigarettes in college from the vending machine in the student commons ($1 by that time). Then sat down in the nearest comfortable chair and smoked them while I did my homework. They had sand-filled ash trays next to the lounge chairs in the commons, and bolted to the wall outside the lecture halls so you could put your cigarette out on the way into class.

Anyone remember playing with elemental liquid mercury, when the thermometer broke?
In my 9th grade science class, the teacher walked through the room with a small beaker of mercury. He would pour a small amount into our hand, letting us roll it around, feeling the weight of it. We then let it roll back into the beaker.
