I admit it, I have sinned multiple times.
G17, G26, G30, G19, G20 and I'm looking for a G29.

I did buy a Glock. In March 1992 my G19 followed me home and it has had a place on my right hip ever since. It has never failed me. I added a G22 two years later and a G27 two years after that. They, too, have never had a single failure. Seventeen years ago my Sig P220-loving gun guru buddy, whose chin quivered when I told him I was getting a "plastic gun", predicted that some day I would buy a Sig...and in the last year I have added four. The Sigs are nice, very very nice. The P229 SAS Gen2 by my side as I write this may be the purtiest gun I will ever own. The Glocks are like old, trusted friends...they aren't perfect(nothing is), but they are dependable and true. I will always be happy to have one handy. And, BTW, my gun guru friend admitted to me a few years ago in a moment of weakness that he likes his G21 almost as much as he does his P220. I also now own an M&P, an XD, and a Beretta 92 and I think that they are all just nifty. I cannot fathom why anyone would find it necessary to accept only one make of firearm and reject the others. Come to think of it, if I could I would go out and buy one of everydamngun. If only they wouldn't all point so dang low. Wink

I know the Glock instructions say no handloads.
Oh well.
So much for warranties.

There is something to be said for a pistol that is light, accurate, and proven to fire under any circumstace. And that is low on maintaince and where the slide and frame can together be detailed stripped in 5 minutes.

Yes, Glocks and Sigs can live in perfect harmony!

I'm not afraid to admit I didn't just drink the kool-aid, I chugged it from a funnel with Gaston shouting "Chug, chug, chug!". No matter what one's personal opinion of Glocks, y'all have to admit, everything is compared to them. Is it as reliable as a Glock, as easy to maintain, price, carry-ability, capacity, etc. I've read so many articles or posts or whatever that contain in the text some reference to Glock. Parabellum is right, no matter what, I do beieve at some point in their shooting life, every gun owner buys one.

They do keep this sly fox.

I saw a fellow at the bowling alley once, with a clear ball, in the middle was a Glock.

I would LOVE to have a bowling ball like that.
Even though I bowl once in a leap year, that's too cool to pass up.

Ok, I bought a G22RTF today. It sure is an ugly thing. The three glowing green eyes staring back at me help somewhat. It seems to shoot ok. Will take some adjustment (on my part) to get used to the trigger.

I sold my G31 to purchase my P228. I have never looked back. Glocks do not fit my hands well.

The trigger on a G19 I rented a couple of weeks ago felt like the ignitor on my gas grill.

Went to the range yesterday morning. I am somewhat a range nazi so I am constantly looking around me making sure there are no safety violations.

Not one glock on the entire firing line Smile
