Cool

Took delivery of a new Gen 4 26 today. I'm already a big fan of my Gen 3 19, and this one should be more of the same good stuff.

Thanks to Steve at SCP for the great customer service as always, and the sight / G17 trigger install.

Grumpybiker, I am in the exact same place as you with this. It's very interesting how things change. I used to be a 1911 snob with my Ed Browns, now I have fallen off that bandwagon and am very enamored with my new Glocks. .....Enamored, now thats some sick shit! Wink

I have a G29 It's ok... Kind of chunky & top heavy due to it's size. Not sure if I'll ever buy another Glock though.

Funny how that goes. I'd never kick, toss, drop, get-mad-and-throw, my 1911s or even my Smiths or Sigs. Glocks? Won't hurt 'em. They can be abused, dropped out of airplanes, frozen, left in the mud or (worse) given to a cop to carry on duty and they'll still look good. Best of all, they'll still shoot. Whoever said they are the AK of handguns hit the nail on the head. Helluva gun and one that's being copied (more or less) by other manufacturers. They wouldn't be doing that if Glock didn't have something going for it. All the more reason to buy a couple. Or three or four, maybe.

I have a G17. It's alright. It's a bit of a bore, and it very rarely makes it to the range anymore. I wish I had bought a G20 instead; surely the 10mm Glock isn't so dull.

I don't sell or trade, though, and there are dozens upon dozens of guns I want before buying another Glock, so that's the way it goes.

The G20SF is a keeper that WOULD make it to the range. Or the woods. Definitely not dull unless you shoot over-the-counter ammo. Buffalo Bore or some of the other aftermarket stuff will change your mind about what's dull and what's not.

Nice! Looks just like the one I sent out to Bruce Gray for Magicman on here a few days ago. I'd like to have one down the road. Smile Larry and Zac... thanks, they look great!

Not to be a contrarian, but a Glock reset sucks compared to a S&W DA/SA Autoloader...

I like my Glocks as much as the next guy, but this is not one of their better features...

Yeah, and Walther's P38 as well (although it's not really a primary choice for self defense these days.)

Those long slide Glocks are sexy as hell Big Grin I guess that is second on my list behind a Glock 20. I hear that 10MM is equivalent to the .88 Magnum in its abilities to shoot through schools. /obscure movie quotes
