France Bans All Pro-Palestinian Protests In Drastic Crackdown

https://www.zerohedge.com/poli...ts-drastic-crackdown

In a surprise move which is sure to be widely condemned as brazen and massive overreach stomping on free speech, the French government of Emmanuel Macron has just announced it is banning pro-Palestinian protests. Paris says it's necessary to maintain national security and prevent anti-semitic attacks.

Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin announced Thursday in a letter to law enforcement across the country that they are "likely to generate disturbances to public order."

Presumably demonstrators might not be able to not so much as fly a Palestinian flag. But this crackdown itself sets the stage for rioting (given that's what the French are already good at).

More importantly, the Arab/North African population of France is already at a staggering 5-6 million people, or at around 10% of the total population, according to some estimates. Major cities of the last couple years have already been beset by migrant-fueled riots and unrest. Huge numbers of the French Arab community were also born in France.

It seems this is a preemptive effort of government authorities to halt any kind of Islamic 'day of rage' which Hamas leadership had publicly called for earlier in the week.

What's more is that this dramatic move is being framed as part of thwarting antisemitic attacks:

In a statement, Gérald Darmanin ordered foreign nationals who break the rules to be "systematically deported".

The move comes as European governments fear a rise in antisemitism triggered by the Israel-Hamas war.

On Thursday, German police broke up a pro-Palestinian demonstration in Berlin.

France has a Jewish community of almost 500,000, the biggest in Europe. France's Muslim community is also among Europe's largest - an estimated five million.

Mr Darmanin told regional prefects that Jewish schools and synagogues should be protected by a visible police presence.

President Macron has confirmed that at least 12 French citizens died in the Saturday Hamas attack, while 17 more are missing, among them four children.

Given this new ban on pro-Palestinian protests, and given tensions are already rising across Europe as more and more competing pro- and anti-Israel demonstrations pop up, Friday is going to be interesting to say the least. French police are bracing themselves for likely major unrest.

Israeli PM's office releases graphic photos purporting to show Hamas 'murdered and burned' babies: Blinken says images he has seen are 'depravity in the worst imaginable way'

There is significance to this beyond the obvious. When you have terrorist-loving news organizations such as CNN, and representatives of the terrorist-loving Biden administration openly admitting that these atrocities actually occurred and that they are unequaled depravity, it means that there is no cover this time for the people and organizations who sanction such savagery. America-hating misanthropes such as the squad and BLM and all these university organizations that endorsed the attacks- they're screwed, because the gangster faction of their movement went too far this time, and no one but fanatics and the genuinely insane will side with these murderers, and now even the apathetic and disinterested among us can see the truth and can see who is in the right.

And then, there is this:

Iran has not accessed $6 billion released in prisoner swap, White House says

It's almost as if karma is being gradually doled out to the Biden administration.

As said regarding getting people out of Gaza, who in their right mind would accept these people ("refugees") into their country. How can you trust that the children are not already brainwashed, taught to hate, taught to want to kill others, and how to hide it if they get out..

Fox was showing a CNN discussion with two Harvard Professors, they were seriously close to blows, both being elders probably held that back, one was trying to compare the Israel bombing and the collateral damage to children to the beheading of babies saying the perpetrators of these deaths were basically the same.

Update to CNN Harvard Prof Discussions - Link

As we've said earlier, Hamas has zero to lose in it's actions and attacks, it's supporters though, AOC, Talib, et al absolutely have a lot to lose based on their comments and historical support from socialist/communist organizations. Hamas though, the plan is now to disparage the retaliation and Israel since it's now the "current news". Unless Hamas attacks again and kills more, it now plays the victim, the Egypt and USA comments that Israel was warned that are unsubstantiated are part of the plan to make Israel stop it's attack. Saudis meeting with Iran is not a good thing for Israel, and the peace accord is stopped.

This time, it's not going to work unless the US and other countries join up on them to stop the conflict, don't think Israel will back down without some serious consequences coming their way and that doesn't mean military consequences, other than say the US says, no more Iron Dome supplies unless you turn on the power...

I intend to tread lightly given that it's a young child but this is exactly why I'm not terribly mortified about the children of Gaza potentially dying is part of the Israel operation.

A young child with these overt intentions can be just as deadly as a young adult, given the circumstances. I wish it wasn't case but these kids have been educated on the righteousness of killing people will do so if possible.

Therein lies the true challenge in all of this. You could have a 10 year old child pointing an AK at you, running at you with a knife, or with a bomb strapped to their chest. The are there as they have been fed a poisoned ideology and because of their age and lack of mental maturity cannot differentiate between right and wrong. The ugly truth is they want you dead.

I hope I am never placed in a situation where I have to make a decision like that. I have no words to describe how I feel for those who have had to make that decision.

Who, indeed?

Wife, sarcastically: I hope the USS Gerald R. Ford isn't there to help evacuate Palestinian refugees to America.

Me, almost with confidence: No one in their right mind would invite Palestinian refugees on board an aircraft carrier.

More deadly, in some ways.

As civilized people, we in the West have been brought up to believe women and children are to be protected. Thus it is our natural inclination to regard them as people to whom we should offer succor, rather than aggression.

It's unnatural for us to think otherwise.

I am a Viet Nam-era veteran. I never went, but, plenty of my cohort did. Both in conversation with them and in briefings we were cautioned the Viet Cong weaponized children and to never allow them to approach us.

Yeah... it's sad. But to defeat them, you have to defeat them all.
What's this "you" stuff? How very brave. Someone else does it for you.

Let me tell you something, guys. I'll stop all discussion of this subject permanently in this forum. Stop- RIGHT NOW- with the we-have-to-kill-children shit.

I don't give a rat fuck whether or not you think I'm naive. We are not doing this in this forum. Take a look around the internet and see the insane rhetoric. We are not savages.

Cut it out. I don't give a GODDAMN how tough and resolute you think you are. You want talk about killing children? Join Hamas.

Got a problem with this? Speak up.

To take this from negative to positive. What are realistically the options to deal with murderous savages that attack civilians on purpose and use women and children and shields? I've thought about this a lot the last few days and its an impossible situation. You want minimize collateral damage but the bastards are holed up in hospitals, schools, and residential areas. Other than going door to door with immense risk to your ground trips, are there any other alternatives?

All you kill in that situation is the peon terrorists (who only exist to kill and die for the cause), who want to go to Heaven for their reward. Yes, it will stop it for now, but the ones that really need to be killed are the Hamas leaders hiding out in Qatar and their handlers in Tehran. Destroy their money and weapon access, destroy their leaders and you get a handle on destroying their belief system, maybe preventing the next generation or the generation after that one from being recruited. You can see from the videos, how young they have started with their ideology programming.
