Staring back from the abyss

| Linguini alle Vongole with fresh salad from the garden and shallot viniagrette. Wonderful dinner. Would have been better with fresh clams, but I didn't feel like driving 500 miles to get some.

| Me and my oldest daughter are duo for a month. New York strip topped with crab sauce. Sautéed balsamic onions, and grilled corn on the cob. Crab sauce has fresh herbs from the garden. It’s a good evening. How’s this cook Gordon Ramsey?!?

Thank you, Sir, your proteins are better than mine for sure. She and I like ours Kentucky blue most the time, so most folks would say this is too rare, but for me it’s a little over to be honest. I appreciate the compliment for sure.
