Hate crime data is more problematic because minorities are rarely charged so the data is biased.

Holder's Just Us Department screwed the hate crime data even more: if a Hispanic was the suspect in a black murder, the Hispanic was filed as white. If a Hispanic was the victim then the Hispanic was filed as Hispanic.
