Someone posted a great comment to one of today's articles on Kapernick when the story suggested he could blame reaction to his political stance if the 49ers cut him:

He's playing in San Diego tonight. I'm watching if on TV. In addition to the large military presence there they are having an officer sign the anthem. It's military salute night. Large flag will cover midfield. They also gave away a couple hundred tickets to military guys.

Eric Reid of SF and Jeremey Lane of Seattle have joined Kaeperdork in their stupid protest. Rush is right... these assholes keep it up and the NFL keeps playing its PC bullshit and their collective meal tickets may shrink significantly.

Would be a strange twist if these protesting ass wipes got seriously injured or died from black on black crime. I'm pretty sure I could work through "the shock" of receiving that news just fine.

The only thing that will matter is the almighty dollar.

Until people stop caring about, and by default pouring money into, the NFL nothing will change.

The NFL and many professional sports have "dropped the ball" so to speak on nearly every moral issue. They provide lip.service, suspend players or fine them (thousands of dollars for players making millions... it would be like fining us 5 dollars).
