Other than disagreeing with the one other video of his that was previously posted on the forum, I know nothing else about Jimmy Dore... ...but, if the premise of his position in this current video is based largely on articles from Left wing sources such as Harpers and Salon then my BS detector is already in the red zone. But the meter goes completely pegged when he then further relies on a source such as Noam Chomsky to make his argument, a radical academic Leftist, that has been making the rounds for decades and celebrated in political Leftist academia, and a known anti-war activist since Vietnam. An excerpt from his own website: Who is Noam Chomsky Ideologically, he aligns with anarcho-syndicalism and libertarian socialism. Different war, but the same tired trope of the U.S. and the West are imperialists and then throw in usage of the phrase "military industrial complex" and, voila, you have a recycled old argument. I'm surprised Jimmy Dore didn't dig up Saul Alinsky to get comments on Ukraine and Russia from him too. As it often happens, conspiracists often mix in elements of truth, and there are some accurate facts in that cauldron of spin but, based on that video, I wouldn't rely too heavily on Jimmy Dore for accurate information, unless you are doing oppo research, or just like a little classical Russian apologist mixed in with your dose of truth.

The entire premise of Dore's argument is that NATO has no justification to expand by adding new members or spending money to modernize their forces, when Russia is supposedly no longer a threat... completely ignoring the history of recent Russian aggression and intervention in Georgia, Belarus, and Ukraine, completely ignoring Russia's increasing cooperation with China, and completely ignoring Russia's own military modernization efforts, such as with hypersonic missile technology.. and he does this using Left wing sources and talking points. And you believe his analysis is worth considering? I'm not suggesting that the West hasn't made some mistakes in regards to Russia and Ukraine, but I'm also not going to buy into Leftist pro-Russia/ US imperialist talking points either.

I didn't ask you to regurgitate the latest collection of RT talking points, and none of those talking points answers the question I asked. What is the necessary connection between supporting Ukraine and supporting Biden, one world government and George Soros? Honestly, man, you're beginning to sound like a complete loon.

RT is controlled by the Russian government and is widely known as being a totally untrustworthy anti-West, Putin-fawning propaganda outlet. Even if you want the Russian perspective, RT wouldn’t be the place to get it.

I'm well aware of what it is. Its perspective is still worth watching. I would imagine that's DirectTV's decision--in support of the widespread "cancelling" of all things Russian. You can still get to RT on the 'net, if you like. "America is at that awkward stage. WW2 was won my our manufacturing ability. Now- nonexistent. Add to that the the Political class and upper corporate management is corrupt and incompetent. Our enemies have our tech as soon as we do. Our population would never accept war time hardship. So, by all means, let's poke the bear

World War II was won because of many different things. The US manufacturing capability was one factor, and it’s true that it doesn’t exist to the same degree today. But it wasn’t the only thing that “won” the war. The willingness of men to do things like wade across heavily-defended beaches or fly into intense antiaircraft fire also had something to do with it. “I don’t want some ‘gun nut’ training my officers [about firearms].” — Unidentified chief of an American police department. “I can’t give you brains, but I can give you a diploma.” — The Wizard of Oz This life is a drill. Rising energy prices are a feature... not a bug: Energy Secretary Grandholm Admits Biden Economic Pain and Gas Prices all Part of New Energy Transition It was only a matter of time before someone had to admit what the instructions were within the Biden administration. Today, the video surfaces showcasing Energy Secretary Jennifer Grandholm making the admission. During a The U.S. Department of Energy roundtable on February 28, 2022, launching the Biden administration Better Climate Challenge initiative, Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm explained the core of the Biden energy policy. Underneath all the blocks to oil and gas development is the larger objective to transition away from fossil fuels to Green New Deal climate change initiatives. $10/gal gasoline is a feature, it is part of the plan. Rising electricity rates and massive increases in home heating and cooling costs is part of the plan. The downstream impacts of inflation inside the entire U.S. economy are structural issues to be managed. The financial pain to the U.S. citizen is the biggest problem they need to manage. Within this ‘transition’ process the administration needs something they can point to as a false justification. That’s where the Ukraine-Russia conflict serves their current interests. The Biden team need Americans to blame something or someone else, as they execute this policy. First it was COVID, now it’s Vladimir Putin. All of this is being done on purpose. WATCH: https://theconservativetreehou...nsition/#more-229031 "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown "The United States government is the largest criminal enterprise on earth." -rduckwor

https://www.militarytimes.com/...raine-military-says/ Ukraine armed forces have been striking that long line of Russian troops heading to Kyiv while the Russians have used thermobaric weapons against Ukrainian cities, the head of Ukraine’s defense intelligence agency tells Military Times. “We are striking the enemy’s columns,” Brig. Gen. Kyrylo Budanov told Military Times in an exclusive interview Wednesday morning. “We burn many columns of the enemy.” The strikes, he said, are being conducted by Ukraine Su-24 and Su-25 fighter jets, artillery and missile barrages. “My intelligence officers and agents are directing and calling the strikes,” he said. Marine Lt. Col. Anton Semelroth, a Pentagon spokesman said Wednesday morning he “would not speak to intel assessments.” Speaking to reporters Wednesday afternoon on the condition of anonymity, a senior defense official said the Pentagon has indications Ukraine forces are targeting the convoy in an attempt to stymie what officials believe is Russia’s ultimate goal: to occupy Kyiv and install a puppet government. The official spoke to reporters on the condition of anonymity. “We’ve seen indications that at times and at certain places, the convoys may have been resisted by Ukrainian forces and I think I have to leave it at that,” the official said. “But we’ve seen indications that we are in no position to refute [Ukraine claims they have hit the convoy].” The Russian troops staged around the outside of Ukraine’s capital city appear to be in a holding pattern of some kind, a senior U.S. defense official told reporters Tuesday. Formations that had been moving toward Kyiv are essentially in the same spot today as they were Monday, the official said, roughly 17 miles outside the city center. “We believe that that’s for a number of reasons,” the official said. “Obviously, the resistance that they’re facing, the fuel and sustainment problems that they’re having. We are also picking up signs that they’re having problems feeding their troops, that they’re not only running out of gas, but they are running out of food.” The Pentagon’s assessment echoes multiple reports from recent days that Russian troops are looking for fuel and sustenance as they roll toward Kyiv. and A senior U.S. defense official told reporters Thursday that 90% of the Russian forces that had massed on the border are now inside Ukraine, and that Russia has launched 480 missiles since the start of the invasion. The "majority" of Ukraine's air and missile defense systems remain intact.

My spidey senses started tingling when I heard big tech getting in on the game against Russia. When people who have been against my side start taking what a position which appears to be on what I think is my side, I become cautious what I think I believe is true. "It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." ^^ For whatever my opinion is worth to you, I don't think anything could be more reasonable. OTOH, it never hurts to remember that different people do the same things other people do, but for their own reasons. I think tech's role in the 2020 steal put a lot of fear in folks for its contribution to the general sense 1984ishness that went with the steal. Maybe this is big tech's way of presenting it's self as actually being a force for good?

My first and greatest concern is innocent people being killed. My second are people being lied to, coerced, forced against their will or better judgment (by lies and twisting of truth and facts, and deception) for the purpose and outcome of using others to harm innocent people. Third. Assholes. But that is a whole 'nother rant. In this shitstorm, I already have a bias against the Soviets, and it is tied to half of my people's history, and to mine directly. I also have met many "regular Joseph bag of Ponchkas" from Rashka, and many Ukrainian people, most who are Jewish WWII survivors that left after the fall of the curtain (early to mid 90s). Most of them hate(d) communism, were very nationalistic, and loved family over state. I mistrust the news, realize there is great propaganda in all things, and that the "truth" of all of this is very much mixed in a deep and murky cesspool. But the innocent people, the destruction of homes, the fear and the terror, is beyond my ability to simply accept as "deserved" by the Ukraine people because of the likely corruption in government. (show me any government that ever was anything but...). Putin may state that he was simply trying to "save" the Ukrainian people from corrupt government, "biolabs", and Nazis. Funny, "Lets kill a fuckton of them, that'll save them from this shit!" "the meaning of life, is to give life meaning" ✡ Ani Yehudi אני יהודי Le'olam lo shuv לעולם לא שוב!

The S2 Underground team released a new assessment yesterday. They stay away from tactical play-by-play, and instead provide high level strategic briefings on a number of pertinent topics, from the geo-political, force deployment, strategic analysis, civilian evacuation routes and conditions, as well as some good advice on sorting out propaganda and the known from the unknown. They are primarily focused on trying to save civilian lives in conflict zones. There is nothing earth shattering in this briefing, but they do make some interesting observations and offer some advice worth at least considering. @ 28 minute video https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=D5tilAZLZ4Q
