I almost always seem to change mine out for tritium, but admittedly I do like how well the basic goal posts work for me, plastic or MIMafied.

I just picked up my 2nd Glock yesterday. A G23 Gen 4. I rented one at the local range last weekend, and when I left my buddy said he was interested in buying my SR40C. Sold that, and immediately went to pick up a new Glock23. I can't wait to go try it out at the range. Makes a very nice companion for my G19 Gen 4.

My only question is, would anyone recommend putting in the 3.5# trigger on a carry gun? Just toying with the idea.

Oh, and I really like the stock sites on the Glock. If they had those in that glow-in-the-dark paint, that would be a winner for sure.

I use a 3.5# on all my glocks. I would not suggest anything lower tho.

If those are plastic they aren't sight, they are plastic dove tail protectors.

The fact that they look like sights are a complete coincidence.

I may be in the minority, but I tried a 3.5# connector in a couple of my Glocks.
I ended up going back to the stock 5# connectors.
I just feel better with the slightly heavier pull for carry.

But since the connectors are very inexpensive, I'd try one and see how you like it..

I put Ameriglo Caps sights on my G30S.
I like them quite a bit..

On My Glock 26 I installed an XS Tritium Rear Site and a Tru-Glow Orange tritium front site, in place of the big XS white dot site on the front.
It works perfectly. The orange is easier to see and the size of the front blade is narrower and my groups are tighter as a result.
Both are night sites and give the Dot over I configuration.
This combination gives a fast site picture and is the best of both for my 50+ year old eyes.

I'm on my 2nd round of Glorp ownership and this one has grown into a 19, 30 and 17. It's just plain working out this time.

Glock 41 Maybe they will show it off at the SHOT Show. Its supposed to be a P/T 5.3" barrel 45. I think its a cool idea; can't wait to see it in person-if/when it comes out. Razz

My Glocklessness will soon be cured. I sold my G32 recently, but I missed it so much I put a G32 Gen4 on Layaway at Buds. I think this time I'll get a G23 barrel for it to have options to shoot foe-tay.

Dawg gone this dark side.... I tripped in the LGS and fell face first onto a new G23c. My debit card landed on some Trijicon HD's. I get clumsy sometimes. G32 and G19 conversion barrels on their way. Maybe some CPII in the very near future to brighten things up a bit.

Well, after being glockless my whole life, I bought a 19 6 weeks ago and the somehow, almost magically, a 26 followed me home this past week. I will definitely be joining GSSF so I can get blue label from now on since I am now in the frequent buyers club .

Just added a Gen 3 21 SF to the stable. A friend of mine wanted to sell it, he never shot it. It has the ambi mag release and m1913 rail. Not too keen on those features but $450 for a new gun, I was in.

The 21SF joins my 17C and my 26. I was surprised the 21SF shot as softly as it did. It didn't soak up the recoil like my P220 ST but it was still very controllable. Glocks, you just can't beat them.

I just ordered my 3rd Glock yesterday to add to my G19 and G22. Smile

It's a G21SF, I can't want for it to show up.

I'm thinking about getting the G30SF next.....the sickness grows Big Grin

so, an honest question for those of you who have become glock-ified.

Honestly, the thought of a G19 has popped on into my head on a couple occasions lately. Dunno why, I don't intend to buy any more guns for a while, but I've been thinking on it.

How do you adjust to the differing grip angles between the Glock and say, a Sig or Beretta or other non-glock gun?

In thinking about it, right now I've shot mostly non-glock pistols and am comfortable with them. Any time I shoot a glock, the angle feels weird, and I have to adjust my grip a bit to straighten things out.

Do those of you who are proficient with Glocks find yourselves having to adjust your grip or something to feel comfortable when going back to a non-glock pistol? Or do you just naturally (subconsciously) adjust?

Considering that grip is one of if not the most important factor to shooting a pistol accurately (as in, if your grip sucks nothing will improve your shooting), is there any effect on your shooting? Or does it go away after some time?

I don't get to shoot as much as I like (I live in NYC.) So when I do, it's whatever I end up feeling like renting. Every other time, it seems to be a Glock. Lately the non-glock times have been HKs. There are SIGs in there occasionally also.

I don't find switching around much of a problem. If you're aligning the sites, the grip angle issue goes away. I could see where it could be an issue if your point-shooting.
