I have not purchased another Glock since I bought the Glock 22. However, I did run into a deal on a dozen lightly used mags and bought them home.

Cruised by the local pawn today where he was just placing a G36 on the shelf that someone sold. Slide had some wear and the mag wouldn't drop
free but I reconciled that within five minutes of getting it home Smile

I also would rather throw stones than buy a Glock. In fact the money I didn't waste on a Glock just bought me a like new all steel, not plastic Les Baer!

So you are gonna get one this month. Good for you. And yes, to answer your question you should get one in 9mm. And the G19 is a good place to start. You're very welcome. Smile

Congrats on the G19 reloaderguy. An excellent choice. Very capable, very size efficient.

You're gonna love it!

Where did I say I bought a Glock 19? I bought a Les Baer instead.

I followed reloaderguy's example and went with the G19 as well.
I love being able to use the G17 and g18 mags in it.

No plastic sights for me. Either Glock steel sights or Heinie Straight Eights replacement sights, that's the ticket.

Reloaderguy, there's no need to thank everyone in this forum. Getting a G19 is a very rational and intelligent decision which you would have eventually arrived on your own. Cheers!

I have the Gen3 RTF2 with the std plastic sights and was thinking of doing an upgrade but haven't decided and which set-up I want.

I have the Novak night sights on my Les Baer. Don't have any sights on the Glock. Don't plan to or own one.

Reloaderguy! Congratulations on the G19, you will definitely enjoy it. I went with the G17 and G26 in 9mm. You may want to consider the G26 next. The high capacity magazines will work in the G26. I carry two of the G18 33 round magazines as spares for my G26.

Good choice! The Novak's on the Glock 19 make it a great concealed piece. When did you say you were picking up the second one?

Hope you like your G19 as much as I like mine. It's my #1 carry gun.

If you love your G19, you'll have to get it a stable mate, like agen 4 G26 like I did. Now they are both happy. They too both have nights sights, they were kinda afraid of the dark and we couldn't have that.

I agree. Money well spent....its never wasted on a Glock. You should have got a G17 instead of the G19 if you are switching from 1911s though.

I disagree Xak, I like my 19 much more than my 1911. It carries much easier than that old hunk of steel. Good choice with 19 over stones though. I quit using those long ago.
