Very much so. I expected it. There are some nice ones though

Some of the "pimped" ones look real nice. I'm keeping an eye out for some wood scales for the mini 100

Guys, I sent Mike a Friend Request on USN. I've been looking around for his articles, but it seems like he gave us a good list earlier in this Thread.

The NSAR arrived yesterday.

Just an awesome purpose built piece.

Even though Don is a year away from official retirement I plan on sending it to him this week. I will send it in for engraving aftter ots official. Last I spoke to him his SOG got lost during the recent move after getting stationed in Pensacola from Belle Chase

Can't have a boat knife without a pic on a boat Smile

Quick deep clean and lube and it'll be ready

It's NIB for all practical purposes. Box, papers etc including the "rinse with fresh water after salt contact"

Not a mark on the blade. A few exceptionally slight scuffs on the scales

I stripped cleaned and lubed today. Will be mailed tomorrow

Found it interesting the blade washers are nylon (plastic whatever). My 7, mini A-100, Dads mini 7 all have metal blade washers

$210 shipped

Great to see so many familiar faces! A few fellow Suspects, as well.

I too have a modest Emerson collection. I've had fun parsing through the pages here. So much to like!

Parabellum is the owner, you may have seen him in many of the Threads. He runs this Forum at his own expense with his own time. He is fair, but firm. His Moderators are some great guys too...and all of them have a level of experience with firearms that you won't find too many places. In fact, that goes for many of the members here. I came here as a newbie...really I knew nothing. The members here have taught me pretty much everything I know. I'm still not 'good', but I am better... Razz

I consider it my great fortune to be here.

I spoke with my friend after I received bunches of texts about it. He is elated

Three things came out of it really

1- there is another Emerson convert

2- I pissed off the wife who bought the SOG that was lost

3- even worse (for him)...she now wants an Emerson Smile
