Does anyone have one, or have opinions / thoughts on the Patriot?

The blade carries some design elements of several other popular Emerson's.

Thanks,

Rob

Those are 2 of my favorites.

The Kershaw Emersons are the only thing in my price range right now, but they all have shapes that don't look as good.

I think an A100 might be in my future, but the CQC7 is the other one I'd choose.

Thanks! One is mine, and one is stored for a family member.

I just received some of the Kershaw Emersons, purchased for Christmas gifts. They seem very solid, but much smaller than I was expecting, even though I read the measurements.

Could you snap some side by side pics comparing "similar" styles between them please

So, I was going to put it up a picture of the CQC-3 Kershaw collaboration next to a CQC-7, but then I figured that ti would be best to put it up against the famous Emerson for being small, the CQC-14. Maybe I should have put it up next to a Persian!

You are very welcome

Yes, and yes. It is still impressive construction and a good intro gift for others, which is how I'll be using.

FYI

"We are deeply saddened by the sudden and tragic loss of one of our employees, our friend, Jason Leib who was killed in a car accident while riding his motorcycle home from work yesterday. Jason was one of our best employees, extremely well liked by everyone at Emerson Knives and he was my friend. A senseless accident took him away 15 minutes after work and leaves behind two beautiful children (girls) and his wife. Jason had not been dealt the best hand in life but he found a place to flourish here at Emerson Knives and we had promoted him to shop foreman, just two weeks ago. He loved his job and you could see the pride it brought to him that we had faith in him. He was one of the most helpful and considerate men I have known. He was a good man, father and husband. And now he is gone. Everyone here will miss his presence in our “family.” We will be setting up something to help out his family. Please stay in touch for information on helping them out.

My Best Regards, Ernest Emerson"
