I simply don't see it. How can that be irrefutable evidence?

It was a blurry photo taken from one of the videos and "enhanced" by the Kenosha idiot at the direction of the prosecutors. It was "enhanced", and showed Kyle's med-kit gone, and supposedly Kyle shouldering with his left hand instead of right. It was complete and utter bullshit, a complete fabrication, and yet another example of prosecutorial misconduct and lies. They'll do anything to nail this kid for doing what they should have been doing all along. If these prosecutors don't end up in jail, it will be yet another indicator of a completely failed justice system in yet another region of the country.

All this is teaching Americans is that you'd damn sure better not submit to authorities if you are forced to defend yourself. SSS

To your point AKSuperDually.

They have to nail Kyle to chill the rest of the country from ever protecting themselves or their property in similar fashion in the future.

If the powers to be want rioting to happen you better not step in to stop it...

I’ve said for some time that they want an armed response to rioting by people like us that are fed up with this crap. Then they can push legislation to go after evil guns large scale. Look what they’re doing for one guy with a clear self defense angle.

Agreed. Once it kicks off, we will have to rid our country of "them". It isn't a measure that can be done half-way.

You couldn't be more correct.

Absolutely every single last one of "them" absolutely must be dealt with. All of them.

You gents know that there's a whole lot of "THEM"!
Like a whole, whole lot!

I'm not disagreeing with the theory at all, but letting you know the sheer volume of "THEM"!

Word now is the jury asked for eleven copies of pages 7-36 (the rest of the jury instructions)

Sounds like there are holdouts to a not guilty finding that others are trying to convince Kyle is innocent.

Part speculation. The jury asking for more pages is generally public.

There are news media in the courtroom. They are reporting on anything happening.

Or, maybe they ran out of toilet paper. It's the second half of your post that's being questioned.

WGN has been quoting Joe THE SHARK Lopez in their articles about Rittenhouse. He is a piece of work. Here is a sample:

The Shark is off the hook.

After a three-hour bench trial, longtime Chicago defense attorney Joseph "The Shark" Lopez was acquitted Monday of misdemeanor battery for allegedly striking his own client in the mouth during an altercation in a courtroom lockup at the Leighton Criminal Court Building earlier this year.
Known for his flamboyant pink socks, high-profile clients and recent guest spots on the hit show "Chicago P.D.," Lopez hired an equally well-known Chicago attorney, Edward Genson, to defend him on the charges, bringing an unusual mix of star power and legal chops to a dingy branch courthouse at Harrison Street and Kedzie Avenue.

After Circuit Court Judge Robert Kuzas announced his verdict, a beaming Lopez shook hands with his legal team. He told reporters outside the courthouse he felt "great" about the outcome and that it was scary to be on the other side of the proceedings.

"I really understand what my clients are going through now," said Lopez, who defended Outfit boss Frank Calabrese in the landmark Family Secrets trial and former Bolingbrook cop Drew Peterson on charges he killed his wife. "It's terrifying."

Genson, meanwhile, said Lopez "never should have been charged in the first place" in the Sept. 28 incident, which he said was a clear-cut case of self-defense.

The trial centered on a four-minute surveillance video from the lockup behind Judge Joseph Claps' courtroom. The video, which had no audio, showed Lopez apparently quarreling with his client, Carlton Brooks, before a routine hearing on charges of identity theft and felony gun possession.

After Brooks reached through the bars of his cell and knocked some papers out of Lopez's hand, the attorney walked out of camera view for about 10 seconds. When he returned, Lopez could be seen pointing a finger at Brooks before jabbing his left arm through the bars and striking Brooks in the face with an open hand.

Brooks, 27, testified the quarrel began after he'd asked Lopez to show him the police reports from his arrest. Lopez told him court rules barred him from showing him the reports, and instead starting reading them out loud in earshot of other inmates in the holding cell, Brooks said.

Brooks said he reached for the reports in Lopez's hand to get him to stop reading them, and when they fell to the floor, Lopez started shouting racial slurs and expletives at him.

"He called me a mother(expletive) and he told me I was going to go down for the case," Brooks testified. He said when Lopez returned seconds later, he called him a liar and said "I have something for you."

"That's when he reached through the bars and hit me in the face," said Brooks, who suffered a cut lip and later sought medical treatment at the Cook County Jail.

Assistant State's Attorney Thor Martin testified he was questioning a witness in a pretrial hearing before Claps when he heard someone screaming expletives and saw Lopez burst through the door into the courtroom, apparently not realizing court was in session.

"He kind of looked around the courtroom and saw that something was happening, and he said that his client had just hit him," Martin said.

That afternoon, Lopez said in a statement given to a Cook County sheriff's deputy that Brooks had reached through the bars and punched him in the left shoulder — a claim that was not backed up by the video.

In his closing argument, Assistant State's Attorney Jeff Allen said that if Lopez was truly scared, he could have simply "stepped back" from the bars of the cell instead of moving toward Brooks and escalating the situation.

Genson, meanwhile, noted that Brooks has filed a lawsuit against Lopez seeking monetary damages, which could give him a motive to lie. He also argued that Brooks was a "thug" who had been caught with three loaded guns in his car and was acting aggressively toward Lopez, who had a right to defend himself.

"Whether there are bars or not, if that kind of man moves toward you, there is justification to strike out," Genson said.

The case marked Genson's second recent victory defending lawyers accused of wrongdoing. In August, another client, attorney Michael Thompson, was acquitted along with fellow lawyer Beau Brindley in federal court of charges they coached witnesses to lie and obstructed justice by filing false documents.
