Pretty sure that was Gecko45 and it was .338 Lapua Magnum IIRC Big Grin. It was epic none the less.

It was Gecko45. It's in the link I posted before.

Kegger was the movie theater cleaner upper that worked at a local gun store up the street from me.

He also is the one who violated a Volvo with a burrito.

After he insisted I wouldn't want to even try to match distance with him with rifles, him using his mini 14, VS my NM Garand, I paid him a visit at work.

Found where he was posting up that he was a WO1 on all these gaming sites and claiming he was a helicopter pilot with stolen photos from other sites. It didn't go so well for him on his other sites after that.

I haven't seen him in any of the local gun shops since.

As for Cliffy, he's in the ground. No longer able to make his tampon angels.

He was actually dangerous. Delusional dangerous. Nothing but time on his hands to make people miserable dangerous.

He was a Sargent Major and a Major in the military and a closeted freak.

There are so many, but the ones that top the list for me, in no specific order…

The “lol” thread with Longbow and Fender Bender. It’s been linked in my signature since its inception.
https://sigforum.com/eve/forum...0601935/m/1650010464

12131’s karma threads. They are all pretty epic, but the “Escape from behind enemy lines” thread stands out. I actually won, but didn’t realize it until it was too late and the giveaway ended.
https://sigforum.com/eve/forum...935/m/7310088124/p/1

Sigolicious thread about moving to Arizona and building his spot in the middle of the desert.
https://sigforum.com/eve/forum...0601935/m/3060050154

A thread I created about one of the kids that worked for me that had no concept of how to use a broom.
https://sigforum.com/eve/forum...0601935/m/1290003694

Grumpybiker’s wood carving project thread.

Right after I found this forum, in 2013, there was a guy here showing off his new car, I think it was a Subaru. Someone took the picture he posted of he and his car and photoshopped it to look like the General Lee paint job. It was a joke, obviously, but the guy got bent out of shape about it and eventually left, or was banned. I think he lived in Pacific Northwest.

I've enjoyed some of the Para alter-ego threads.

It's always fun when Dersh Klitman (Gersh Kuntzman) shows up terrified about some aspect of an AR.

He has a couple of others, also, that I can't remember at the moment.

I always wondered if Sheikyerbouti was an alter-Para, or just a nut.

About the time I became a member there was some thread involving merkins. My wife came in and asked me what I was laughing so hard about.

I knew then I was in the right place.

My unforgettable Sigforum moment is one I’ll share now. Sigmonkey graciously edited an image for me in a record time, which doesn’t sound interesting without context. The picture is one I took in Dirkou, Niger while executing austere refueling supporting operations in southern Libya. Pictured in the foreground is Matthew Roland who was a friend and USAF combat controller. This was our last operational mission before he was KIA rescuing teammates from an insider attack in Afghanistan. He earned the Silver Star for his heroism. I had his father swing by our squadron to sign the framed picture I made using sigmonkeys edited image (the original had some stuff cluttering the scene). I would not have framed the original picture. The signing event was very small, but emotional as it took place right before we left for AFG the last time in our emergency attempt to prevent the fall of Kabul. Seeing his dad enjoy a bourbon at the SQ bar with the team that knew his son and was gearing up for the shitstorm of Kabul in July 21, fully expecting not everyone would return was emotional. That plus the months long aftermath and some investigations all added up to me never saying thank you to Sigmonkey but it was a genuinely important moment for myself and many others made possible by his help. Thanks Sigmonkey![IMG:left] [/IMG]

Edited to add: the signature says TINAGDTBAP. Meaning- today is not a good day to be a pussy.
