I remember a lot of these. IndyFFL and 46and2 are some of my favorites. I like the longtime flameout ones.

I don’t remember his name but there was that Burrito fucker guy. There was also a guy around a few years ago who was supposedly a pilot, his username was an aircraft type IIRC. He was an expert in literally everything. He claimed on here that he was a pilot for a cargo carrier but also supposedly had insider knowledge of secret military actions and communications. I think he burned himself out in a thread about radios.

The Saturday night the Field & Stream writer, while on a hunting trip, decided it would be a good time to make sure the world knew that there was no reason to own an AR. Like a prairie fire, it burned all night. It's been awhile, but I think he got fired or demoted by Monday.

Here's a link to the Gecko45 stuff for your enjoyment, immortalized on another site.

It almost exactly mimics the tripe he laid down here.

I believe it was Calvert who for a while maintained an operator persona on here until he was outed.

Pistol on both hips
1000 yard shooter to relax
Porsche stolen from his garage by super thieves who shot out his security cameras and cut a hole in his garage door to defeat the security system

He was undone and exposed, which started with a bad classified transaction.

Not sure if it's the same guy, but I think one guy offered Para a gun for auction to help the site, but wanted to get payment for the gun.

I remember how they all got nicknames like "he who should not be mentioned" after the ban hammer.

Was the smoking dope guy selling a shaving system?

If it wasn't I remember the water free shaving system guy.

Kegger was the mall ninja/security guard who bragged about his body armor being able to "take a .308 to the back," right?

And the epic takedown (issued by some high-profile member): "If your defense plan involves taking a .308 to the back, you might want to develop a new defense plan."

Pretty sure that was Gecko45 and it was .338 Lapua Magnum IIRC Big Grin. It was epic none the less.

The thread I remember most was the Forum member who was contemplating suicide. His user name escapes me, but he had a skull as his avatar. The outpouring of love and support from para and the members of SigForum was incredible. I believe there was a Go Fund Me effort, because at least part of the member’s problems were financial. He was brought in off the ledge, stuck around for awhile, then drifted off. Not sure what his ultimate outcome was.

There have been threads here that were memorable because they were very funny. The most memorable for me are the ones that illustrate what a true community we have here in SigForum.

I fondly remember most of those named and have to thank them for many laughs.

I don't recall the so-called operator who got outed, but do most of the others. I lurked here for years before I joined and I love this forum the members.
