I remember seeing that a number of times around 2005-2007 or so.

I remember that one too. If memory serves it was an HK G3 and he had a cookie.

IIR there was a thread about the 10MM, with dudes extolling it's virtues, yada yada yada, and then Para replied:

10mm lays waste to entire cities, cuts through diamonds and will tear Superman a new asshole.

I still laugh when someone talks about the 10mm.

Classic Para. Ha !

He had a gas mask on. I don’t remember how but someone got the idea that it was actually me in the picture.
Had some fun letting that thought run for awhile.
Pretty sure I still have that picture somewhere.

Legendary as it, I do not remember the Gay Cake incident. Top of mind, in no particular order:

- High Profile Members
- Knife Karma took too long.
- Preventing a suicide
- “I am Balloon”
- A couple of legendary fund raisers
- Some fantasitic Para related meltdowns
- Monkey’s ‘General Lee’ photoshop - I still cannot believe how the O.P lost his freeking mind over that

Things that have made the forum better
- The overall ridiculous generosity of this forum
- Banning of “gotta be first” “mass shooting” stories
- The continuation of no ads.
- The clean up of the classifieds
- Ban on politics on non-political threads
- Ban on commenting on people’s appearance

Not yet mentioned, (unless I missed it) was during one of the Karma dramas, (I think it was the knife karma and on a Labor Day or Memorial Day Monday) members filled the first page with Karma’s. Para had enough and there was a short-lived karma ban to settle things down a bit.

I didn't read every page and or post but I do recall the guy who showed his wife's ass in some Halloween costumes and frankly she wasn't all that great but he thought she was. Which is all that matters. But he was looking for some sort of validation I guess.

He's still a currently active poster here, a long time member, by the name of 2007Z71, lives in Alaska now.

Back when I first joined SigForum he was transitioning from a career as an architect (I think) and was going back to college to become a RN nurse, I think in Arizona, daughter who shot archery.

Way back then he posted "Old Fart On Campus" stories that made me laugh and giggle and snort & guffaw.

I don't know if it's possible to still see those posts. I'd love to go back and read his rants as the "Old Fart On Campus".

There was another member, I can't recall his screen name, his job was working from some sort of automotive shop (I *think* around Philly). His stories and pics of the things they did to really exotic cars was really a good read. I *think* he started his own shop. Maybe his name was Dave???

There was another member, he was a police officer (East Coast maybe around the Carolinas) who became a photographer. I think his screen was something like ImprezzaGuy or something like that. JUst flat out disappeared.

Tonight I'll raise a toast in memory of those who were members here and contributed to the forum in a good positive way. RIP to those.

Oh yeah, Gutpile Charlie, RIP.

I was hoping someone had more details on this. I started the thread just posting some interesting pictures I’d found on WWII and the Third Reich I believe. Checked back on the thread and saw it had blown up to 20 some pages and the guy going off about the Zionists. I’d love to see that one again.

Yeah Imprezaguy was a cop in the western NC area, he did photo stuff as a hobby, but was really good at it.

Truong said he and three other passengers took action and physically restrained the “unbelievably strong” man with belts.

“I was on his chest and three other guys were holding his arms and legs,” Truong said.

The man was restrained for nearly three hours, and a doctor on the flight tried to sedate him with valium.

“He would go in and out of consciousness, but every time he came around he would try to fight again,” Truong said.

For some reason, I seem to remember Dave saying how incredibly strong the dude was and how it took multiple people to keep him held down. Also said the guy spit on them.

The member's screen name was Dojun Marn and that was a very long time ago- 16 or 17 years, and the thread is long gone.
