Crafty Prime Minister Count Mountjoy devises a plan: Grand Fenwick will declare war on the United States, then surrender, taking advantage of American largesse toward its defeated enemies to rebuild the defeated nation's economy. …”

The IDF on Wednesday utilized explosives to destroy a network of strategic tunnels multiple kilometers long beneath and around Rantisi Hospital and the nearby Ramaz Fahrah School in northern Gaza.

Some of the tunnel shafts descended dozens of meters, with the tunnel under the school descending 20 meters, including an elevator and significant electrical connections and capabilities for use as a command center.

video at link, rather dramatic

https://www.jpost.com/israel-hamas-war/article-779786

On November 13, IDF Spokesman R.-Adm. Daniel Hagari revealed Hamas's underground command center under the Rantisi Hospital, which not only contained suicide vests, rocket-propelled grenades, and a variety of weapons but also signs, such as baby bottles, that Hamas had held Israeli hostages there.

At some later date, intelligence collected by interrogations of Hamas forces performed by IDF Unit 504 led to the military discovering the tunnel under the school, which hooked up with the tunnel network under Rantisi.

Further, tunnels led between the school and another nearby school, and tunnels from Rantisi hooked up with other parts of Gaza City, including with the hidden headquarters of Hamas's naval commander.

The IDF's Yahalom and Unit 14 Engineering units worked on exposing the full extent of the tunnel network as well as planning its destruction.

Back in mid-November, Hagari said there was evidence and independent separate intelligence that Hamas terrorists had returned directly to Rantisi Hospital after their attacks and mass murders of Israelis on October 7.

He also noted that an IDF robot found additional terror tunnels, including electricity being siphoned off from the hospital for use by the terrorists underground.

A video showed the basement of the hospital, which showed a location disconnected from the rest of the hospital where the significant terror explosives and armaments were kept.

Hagari showed a motorcycle with a bullet hole inside it and items connected to one of the hostages in the vicinity of the motorcycle.

One of the chairs showed ropes and other items indicating that a hostage had been held there.

A baby bottle and other baby materials were found, which the IDF said were connected to a hostage baby.

There were also improvised toilets, which Hagari said was infrastructure to hold hostages.

A list on a board marked the days since October 7, possibly indicating when the terrorists left, likely with hostages.

He said he was not sure if the terrorists used the evacuation to escape or used additional networks of underground tunnels.

I hope dozens of these savages are buried alive in their tunnels and bunkers under the rubble. A fitting way for them to go; terrified in the dark knowing nobody is coming to dig them out.

Of course he did. But to clarify he never put them on the board to begin with, because he's a through and through fraud, a completely dishonest and corrupt human being to the core. He's been mouthing off so long, that to him, his words and reality have zero relation to the other, and this is normal for him. It's normal for all criminals. If you ever spoke with a known criminal, at what point would you think you could trust him ? The answer of course is never. Same is with Biden. It's futility to keep asking or thinking about anything he believes or says is good, honest, or dependable. Criminals aren't any of those, nor is Biden.

“DEI” explained at American Thinker -

dei: Degradation, Exclusion and Intolerance

By now, everyone, including its proponents, knows that DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) means nothing of the sort. It isn’t diverse, it isn’t equitable, and it certainly isn’t inclusive. In fact, DEI is nothing but exclusionary revenge against non-racists by racists, and all to address nonexistent “systemic racism” and long-defunct slavery. There is no slavery in America except that slavery of Democrats to the party of their own destruction.

Today, DEI stands for Degradation, Exclusion, and Intolerance. It has shown itself to be:

DEGRADING: The pool of employees, officials, and hirees across the employable fruited plain has been degraded. Talent and skill and competence have taken a back seat to skin color. Merit is no longer the criterion by which the best are chosen. Color is the only thing that matters to DEI proponents. As a result, incompetence soars when you select for elevation not the best but the mediocre or worse, the untalented.

EXCLUSION: Meritorius Whites, Asians, Jews, and Christians are routinely excluded from the pool of hirees in many companies. Siphoning off those whose ethnic groups have historically scored higher than others guarantees that the only ones left are the less equipped, the less talented, and the less competent. That is what we see today; a working pool of the mediocre.

INTOLERANCE: DEI proponents do not even consider hiring nonminorities. They tolerate no exceptions. As a result, those hired comprise those chosen only for their ethnic background and not for their competence, talent, and exceptionalism. When you skim off the cream and discard it, you are left with an insipid pool of mediocrity. When you eliminate the best, you get the worst.

DEI, while in full vogue in much of corporate America and in the university system, is a toxin in the bloodstream of American excellence, favoring color over competence. We are left with the kind of mushy mediocrity that contributes to decisions like open borders, a thoroughly corrupt judicial system and universities that graduate those who cannot read, think, or strategize.

DEI is poison in our cultural bloodstream. “Diversity is our strength” is a damnable lie. It is not our strength. It is our weakness. Merit is our strength because merit allows talent to rise while the sludgy sediment of mediocrity sinks to the bottom.

We are in a world of trouble unless cooler and wiser heads dump DEI and make achievement great again. America cannot survive an insipid, often hostile work force, especially in the fields of medicine, engineering, piloting, mathematics, computer science, and education. Our entire system needs to be jettisoned in favor of merit-based hiring once again.

If we do not raise the bar, we will find ourselves strangled under it.

END

Or to simplify it: DEI is another horrible thing similar to IED and DIE. Just saying.

You really want to miss up the HR idiot teaching DEI? Just start calling it IED and keep at it. When they (using proper prononuns) correct you, just stand up all upset and "thank" them for pointing out your dyslexic condition in front of everyone!

American hostages...

They are Jews, like most of the hostages.

For Biden to be concerned about American hostages, and not the all of the hostages, is a failure beyond explanation.

Any hostage held by HAMAS, is someone to someone.

The fact that there is some bullshit distinction is abhorrent and insulting to all Jews.

Stop playing politics with lives.

Just, stop.

God, Family, Country!

I'd expect that the VAST majority of devout Jews (obviously excluding JINOs) consider themselves Jews first. Further, what's most egregious is the fact that they are hostages because they are Jews! Regardless, this does not need to be debated.

That said, Biden makes NO distinction...He doesn't seem to care about ANY of the hostages! It is however, a 'failure beyond explanation' that he makes no mention and seems not to care at all about the Jewish American Hostages. After all, that would seem to be a primary responsibility and part of the job description for the office he holds!

It is the American president's #1 responsibility to protect Americans and our interests. Whoever is in charge in DC (biden is just a ceremonial puppet, of course) doesn't give a crap about ANY of the hostages (nor the Americans that were stranded in A-stan).

Eleven leaders of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) were killed in an airstrike targeting Damascus International Airport on Thursday evening, Saudi media reported the following morning.

The commander of the Revolutionary Guards in eastern Syria, Nur Rashid, was injured in the airstrike, Saudi media channel Al-Hadath reported.

IRGC commanders were reportedly at the airport to meet with high-ranking delegates.

IRGC spokesman Sardar Ramzan Sharif denied on Friday reports that 11 of its leaders were killed in an airstrike in Damascus International Airport the night before, Iranian media quoted them as saying, as he said that such claims are "baseless."

Syrian media also claimed on Thursday evening that Israel had targeted sites in southern Syria and near Damascus with airstrikes in two separate waves. Syrian air defenses were activated in the Damascus area during the strikes. The country's media quoted one Syrian military source as saying that the alleged airstrike carried out by Israel came from the "occupied Syrian Golan Heights."

Earlier this week, Iran vowed that Israel would "pay" for the killing of Sayyed Reza Mousavi, another IRGC commander who was killed by an alleged Israeli airstrike last Monday in the vicinity of Damascus.

Shortly after the strike that killed Mousavi occurred, footage on social media showed smoke near the Damascus airport, as Iranian proxies have often used the location.
