A Chinese woman I met who has been in the US for about 15 years, but splits her time between there and here (until the lockdowns and travel bans) told me she did not get vaccinated but is taking Hydroxychloroquine is a preventative. She also said that most/all of the medical workers in Wuhan took it while treating patients during the outbreak there.

And apparently, if contracted, the symptoms are less severe for type O. I think the early indications were that AB type is the worst for developing serious symptoms. .

What am I missing here? I have looked through all of the data at this CDC link and I don't see anything declining. I don't even see the rate of increase slowing at all. New cases, new hospitalizations all going up rapidly. The only bit of good news I see is that deaths, while increasing, are doing so at a slower rate than new infections. But reporting of deaths seems to lag by weeks - at least in my state. I have also followed UK stats closely. Their Delta surge lasted about 2 months before it hit its peak. Our surge started around the beginning of July so if we follow the UK pattern, we probably have a few weeks of rapid increases left before hopefully beginning a UK-like rapid decline. Maybe this decrease will be close enough to the start of schools that it will take some of the wind out of the sails of the school-masking crowd.

The MRNA vaccine codes your rna to produce the spike protein. The spike protein alone can cause disease. What if the spike protein produced by your body does not stay in the muscle the vaccine was injected in? How long does your body produce the spike protein? Are there people who may not remove the code as fast as other people? I have not been able to find any answers to these questions, but a lot of the reported side effects appear to be vascular related. The Salk Institute for Biological Studies is a scientific research institute located in the La Jolla community of San Diego, California on the Pacific coast. The independent, non-profit institute was founded in 1960 by Jonas Salk, the developer of the polio vaccine; among the founding consultants were Jacob Bronowski and Francis Crick. (Wikipedia) " this is the first study to show that the damage occurs when cells are exposed to the spike protein on its own." https://www.salk.edu/news-rele...key-role-in-illness/ The novel coronavirus’ spike protein plays additional key role in illness Salk researchers and collaborators show how the protein damages cells, confirming COVID-19 as a primarily vascular disease LA JOLLA—Scientists have known for a while that SARS-CoV-2’s distinctive “spike” proteins help the virus infect its host by latching on to healthy cells. Now, a major new study shows that the virus spike proteins (which behave very differently than those safely encoded by vaccines) also play a key role in the disease itself. The paper, published on April 30, 2021, in Circulation Research, also shows conclusively that COVID-19 is a vascular disease, demonstrating exactly how the SARS-CoV-2 virus damages and attacks the vascular system on a cellular level. The findings help explain COVID-19’s wide variety of seemingly unconnected complications, and could open the door for new research into more effective therapies. “A lot of people think of it as a respiratory disease, but it’s really a vascular disease,” says Assistant Research Professor Uri Manor, who is co-senior author of the study. “That could explain why some people have strokes, and why some people have issues in other parts of the body. The commonality between them is that they all have vascular underpinnings.” Salk researchers collaborated with scientists at the University of California San Diego on the paper, including co-first author Jiao Zhang and co-senior author John Shyy, among others. While the findings themselves aren’t entirely a surprise, the paper provides clear confirmation and a detailed explanation of the mechanism through which the protein damages vascular cells for the first time. There’s been a growing consensus that SARS-CoV-2 affects the vascular system, but exactly how it did so was not understood. Similarly, scientists studying other coronaviruses have long suspected that the spike protein contributed to damaging vascular endothelial cells, but this is the first time the process has been documented. In the new study, the researchers created a “pseudovirus” that was surrounded by SARS-CoV-2 classic crown of spike proteins, but did not contain any actual virus. Exposure to this pseudovirus resulted in damage to the lungs and arteries of an animal model—proving that the spike protein alone was enough to cause disease. Tissue samples showed inflammation in endothelial cells lining the pulmonary artery walls. The team then replicated this process in the lab, exposing healthy endothelial cells (which line arteries) to the spike protein. They showed that the spike protein damaged the cells by binding ACE2. This binding disrupted ACE2’s molecular signaling to mitochondria (organelles that generate energy for cells), causing the mitochondria to become damaged and fragmented. Previous studies have shown a similar effect when cells were exposed to the SARS-CoV-2 virus, but this is the first study to show that the damage occurs when cells are exposed to the spike protein on its own. “If you remove the replicating capabilities of the virus, it still has a major damaging effect on the vascular cells, simply by virtue of its ability to bind to this ACE2 receptor, the S protein receptor, now famous thanks to COVID,” Manor explains. “Further studies with mutant spike proteins will also provide new insight towards the infectivity and severity of mutant SARS CoV-2 viruses.” The researchers next hope to take a closer look at the mechanism by which the disrupted ACE2 protein damages mitochondria and causes them to change shape. Other authors on the study are Yuyang Lei and Zu-Yi Yuan of Jiaotong University in Xi’an, China; Cara R. Schiavon, Leonardo Andrade, and Gerald S. Shadel of Salk; Ming He, Hui Shen, Yichi Zhang, Yoshitake Cho, Mark Hepokoski, Jason X.-J. Yuan, Atul Malhotra, Jin Zhang of the University of California San Diego; Lili Chen, Qian Yin, Ting Lei, Hongliang Wang and Shengpeng Wang of Xi’an Jiatong University Health Science Center in Xi’an, China. The research was supported by the National Institutes of Health, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Shaanxi Natural Science Fund, the National Key Research and Development Program, the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University; and Xi’an Jiaotong University. _________________________ "Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on or by imbeciles who really mean it." Well. first of all the mRNA vaccine does not "code your rna to produce the spike protein". The little fragment of introduced RNA is the code by which the spike proteins are manufactured. It's not like something is inserted into your existing DNA (like a virus does). To the point, the article says, "the virus spike proteins (which behave very differently than those safely encoded by vaccines)". The study used a "pseudovirus" to mimic the effect of a spike protein-laden virus particle. This is a different configuration than the simple strands of protein instructed by the vaccines.

The mRNA introduced by the vaccines stays in your body only a few days. It is metabolized in the cell cytoplasm just like indigenous RNA, at which point protein production ceases. It's estimated that the spike proteins themselves stay around for a few weeks. Your immune system tracks them down and destroys them, which is the whole point of vaccining.

I had shingles in 2005, and as a result of the virus, my body (medical folks could not say why) either was affected by a second virus due to diminished immune system or an autoimmune disorder (more likely) resulted in my blood platelets being "marked" and my body attacking them and destroying them, and this could have been a result of being administered Valtrex as a treatment for shingles. Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP). This presented about ten days after the first symptoms of shingles (the tingling on my scalp, and a day before the blisters showed) and about the time the pain and fever had subsided and the blisters were drying out. I ended up with less than 1000 platelets per microliter (had to be hand counted) and I spent a week in ICU, and three weeks in the hospital until I "waivered out against doctor's orders/advice". Took nearly 8 months before my system and the issue to resolve, but I still have bruising and slow to clot if cut. (so I have given up on cat juggling). For this justification and because I abhor being forced, coerced, manipulated or fondled into doing anything against my desire, I will not be getting this experimental vaccine. (OK, maybe the fondling is not entirely off the table. I am not cheap, and I am not easy, but I can be had...) One of the first folks to croak from a vaccine was a doctor that contracted ITP. Dr. Gregory Michael (OBGYN) got the Pfizer vaccine December 18th, 2020 and died 2 weeks later from a brain hemorrhage. Of course, Pfizer stated it was not connected to the vaccine. (how can they know so danged fast?) I'll be your Hucclkeberry, but I ain't nobody's lab monkey. Thank you. Most side effects occur within the first few weeks. What about people who don't mount a fast response to the spike protein. (immunocompromised)? Could you also provide a link to this information. It would be interesting to study it. _________________________ "Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on or by imbeciles who really mean it." That I don't know. Let me get back to you... OK, one thing I found out, the spike proteins are not terribly mobile. They tend to stick to cell surfaces near the vaccination site, with less than 1% even making it to the bloodstream. That small amount is metabolized by enzymes as soon as it reaches the liver. What do we know about the toxicity of spike proteins made from COVID-19 vaccines?

How many autopsies have been performed on individuals who died quickly after receiving the vaccine to look for for the spike protein in the vascular system or elsewhere ? Almost immediately from the start, the narrative is it can't be the vaccine causing these deaths in otherwise healthy individuals. You never hear of the real cause of death, never read about autopsy reports. With the billions being spent on all of this: Why not perform some autopsies? _________________________ "Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on or by imbeciles who really mean it." This isn't a very common condition, but I had it myself. We don't know what caused it, but I was lucky in that a high does of steroids seemed to reboot my system back to normal. Only a few days in the hospital for observation. When I presented to the urgent care they were just getting ready to cut me loose when they decided to run a blood sample. My platelets did not even register on their device. The doctor who saw me was looking in my ears and up inside my eyelids. He said he had never seen anybody with numbers that low that was not leaking out all over the place.

Why does it take a U.S. Senator to draw attention to the countless Covid vax injuries? U.S. Sen. Johnson Holds News Conference With Families Injured by COVID Vaccines, Ignored by Medical Community https://stateofthenation.co/?p=71401 Ron Johnson (R-WI) and former Green Bay Packers player Ken Ruettgers held a press conference June 28 with families who want to ‘be seen, heard and believed by the medical community’ after suffering adverse reactions to COVID vaccines. Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) held a news conference Monday to discuss adverse reactions related to the COVID vaccines — giving individuals who have been “repeatedly ignored” by the medical community a platform to share their stories. The group that spoke was put together by Ken Ruettgers, a former Green Bay Packers offensive lineman, whose wife suffered an adverse reaction after receiving a COVID vaccine. Ruettgers, who now lives in Oregon, started a website to bring awareness of COVID vaccine reactions to the medical community. “We are all pro-vaccine,” Johnson said at the onset of the news conference. In fact, Johnson has had every flu shot since the Swine flu, is current on all of his vaccines and was a huge supporter of Operation Warp Speed, though he has not had a COVID vaccine because he already had COVID. Johnson said his goal was to provide a platform for these individuals who were injured by COVID vaccines so the health community and mainstream media would acknowledge them and get to the root cause — to find a solution for these problems. Johnson argued that while most people don’t suffer significant side effects following vaccination, he is concerned about “that small minority that are suffering severe symptoms.” Five people from across the U.S., including a 12-year-old girl who was part of the Pfizer clinical trial, joined the conference at the federal courthouse in Milwaukee. They described their reactions to the COVID vaccines, including neurological, cardiac and gastrointestinal issues, debilitating health problems and hospitalizations. Among them was Maddie de Garay from Ohio who volunteered for the Pfizer vaccine trial when she was 12. On Jan. 20, Maddie received her second dose of the Pfizer COVID vaccine as a participant in the clinical trial for 12- to 15-year-olds and is now in a wheelchair. “Why is she not back to normal? She was totally fine before this,” said Stephanie de Garay, Maddie’s mother. She volunteered for the Pfizer vaccine trial “to help everyone else and they’re not helping here. Before Maddie got her final dose of the vaccine she was healthy, got straight As, had lots of friends and had a life.” Upon receiving the second shot, Maddie immediately felt pain at the injection site and over the next 24-hours developed severe abdominal and chest pain, de Garay said at the press event. Maddie told her mother it felt like her heart was being ripped out through her neck, and she had painful electrical shocks down her neck and spine that forced her to walk hunched over. Maddie’s parents took her to the emergency room as instructed by the vaccine trial nurse administrator. Her labs were taken, she was checked for appendicitis, given an IV with medicine and sent home. The diagnosis in the discharge summary read “adverse effect of vaccine initial encounter.” Maddie’s condition continued to worsen. Over the next two and a half months her abdominal, muscle and nerve pain became unbearable, her mother said. She developed gastroparesis, nausea and vomiting, erratic blood pressure, memory loss, brain fog, headaches, dizziness, fainting, seizures, verbal and motor tics, menstrual cycle issues, lost feeling from the waist down, lost bowel and bladder control and had an nasogastric tube placed because she lost her ability to eat. At one point doctors tried to admit Maddie to a mental hospital, claiming she had a neurological condition caused by anxiety, her mother explained. That’s when they found others experiencing similar adverse reactions who connected them to medical professionals researching adverse reactions to vaccines. Maddie’s mother said her daughter — who was sitting next to her during the event in a wheelchair — has been to the emergency room nine times, was hospitalized three times and has spent two months in the hospital. “All we want is for Maddie to be seen, heard and believed because she has not been. And we want her to get the care that she desperately needs, so she can go back to normal,” said de Garay. Another participant in the news conference was Cheryl Reuttgers. She was in phase one of Oregon’s vaccine roll-out. Four days after receiving her first dose of Moderna she experienced severe neurological complications, which led to a diagnosis of “vaccine-induced-autoimmune-neuropathy” and multiple sclerosis. “These vaccine injuries are real, but people don’t know. People need to understand that these reactions exist and they need to be researched,” Cheryl said. Cheryl said she is pro-vaccine, pro-science and pro-informed consent and has called on the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to acknowledge neurological injuries being caused by COVID vaccines. Candace Hayden from Michigan received her first dose of Moderna’s COVID vaccine on March 2 and a second dose on March 30. On April 18, Hayden started experiencing neurological symptoms and was partially paralyzed from her chest down. She said: “My medical team at the hospital refused to associate my condition with the vaccine, and I continually asked them to report to VAERS [Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System], but I don’t think that they did. It defies my imagination that we can find each other but the medical community refuses to draw the lines and recognize that people are suffering similar adverse side-effects. “The head of my medical team told me that I should get used to being handi-cap. We are asking to be seen. We are asking to be heard. And we’re asking to be believed.” Kristi Dobbs is a 39-year-old dental hygienist from Missouri who received the Pfizer COVID vaccine in January. Immediately after being vaccinated Dobbs experienced paresthesia, heart palpitations and menstrual issues. Dobbs reported her symptoms to V-safe, the CDC, FDA, Pfizer, two research institutes and several universities. “To date, the medical community remains baffled and unable to restore my health,” Dobbs said. “I hope that our conditions will be researched and studied.” Dobbs added she would give anything to return to Jan. 17 before she was vaccinated. Brianne Dressen is a preschool teacher from Utah, who received AstraZeneca’s COVID vaccine during a clinical trial in November 2020. She has since experienced extensive adverse effects from the vaccine that resulted in a medical bill of more than $250,000. According to the latest VAERS data, there have been a total of 387,087 reports of adverse events from all age groups following COVID vaccines, including 6,113 deaths and 31,240 serious injuries between Dec. 14, 2020 and June 18, 2021. Of those 387,087 reports, 11,584 total adverse events, including 578 rated as serious and nine reported deaths occurred among 12- to 17-year-olds. VAERS is the primary government-funded system for reporting adverse vaccine reactions in the U.S. Reports submitted to VAERS require further investigation before a causal relationship can be confirmed. During the event, Johnson mentioned the Harvard Pilgrim study showing less than 1% of adverse events are reported to the CDC’s VAERS system. The senator has faced backlash for holding his press event. Gov. Tony Evers said Friday Sen. Johnson was being “reckless and irresponsible” for holding the news conference and Milwaukee’s health commissioner, Kirsten Johnson, accused Johnson of raising “misleading concerns” about what she called “safe” vaccines that are saving lives. Johnson pushed back on these comments. “Do you think that’s reckless and irresponsible?,” he said. “I think it’s called compassion. I think it’s showing concern for your fellow human beings who have stepped up.” Johnson provided a press packet with hundreds of links to other news stories and said a flood of information would be added to his website. _________________________ "Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on or by imbeciles who really mean it." Yeah. I was leaking. Wet purpura on all mucosa, large bruising on my scalp, bottom of my feet, palms of my hands, and "measles" (petechia) on all my extremities. I got to "shoot the tube" (cat scan) several times looking for brain bleeding, and blood draws every 6 hours, platelets round the clock and IVIG about 4 times in ICU and three times over the next three weeks. It is a big deal with COVID and quite a few cases with some who get the vaccines. I suspect it might be part of the issue with bleeding and clotting in the lungs that is a big part of the COVID. And why I became concerned since I had a prior issue with ITP, and was not sure if it might be an issue, so off to the hospital last year.
