Sitting in a cigar store now puffing a CAO Brazilia. Started of very leathery and it's slowly changing to more earth and spice.

Jay, try a dowel rod with a pin in the end to make a...er...roach clip...finger saver. Cigars are very hot while burning. So hot that I saw someone use a plastic tipped thumb tack and the plastic melted just from conduction.

Lee, those Brazilias are quite good. Not as strong bodied as the Flathead series, but damn good flavors.

Hell yeah Roach clips! Haven't used those in years!

Perdomo vintage maduro at the b&m. I brought an Anejo also in case I feel like smoking another.

It is too damn cold out to even think about enjoying a cigar. 14* and windy! Not as bad as Minnearctica, but still cold!!

The cigars weren't produced. They were sent to cigar elite. I saw one sell online in 2012 it had a pretty sketchy legacy, "got it from a guy who knows a guy, whose uncle shine Carlos' shoes...... The price wasn't published but I suspect it was in you have to ask......

Yeah Gator I know (regarding the sampler). I want the "kitty" if for no reason than I know how difficult (impossible?) they are to get and want to say I smoked it. I'm going to break into the sampler pack tomorrow. I'll let you guys know which I smoked and give the best review I can.

Having my 2nd Eiroa triple maduro today. It is quite good, I think they are overpriced though for the size. Probably wont be buying more.

The margin on small cigars compared to larger vitola is very minimal. Often we wonder why larger cigars only cost a small amount more than small length and smaller RG cigars. The reason is it costs basically the same to make either. The costs are not in the amount of tobacco but the process. Rolling smaller RG and smaller length cigars is actually harder than rolling larger cigars. It takes a much more skilled roller to create one that is not plugged.

Most large manufacturers spread the costs between sizes. They can afford to price a smaller cigar for less and increase the price a small amount on larger cigars. Smaller manufacturers don't have that luxury. That's why you see less small cigars on the market. I like smaller RG cigars in the winter not smaller length. For me I would generally rather smoke a petite corona, corona, lonsdale or lancero rather than a cigar with a 52+ RG that is only 4.5 inches long. Again just personal choice. Manufacturers have a hard time selling smaller RG cigars because consumers don't want to spend a significant sum on a small cigar when they see a 54 RG by 6.5 inches sitting next to it for only slightly more.

When its cold outside i like the smaller smokes too. I just meant that this cigar in particular for the size and price is not worth it. If it was 6$ id give it a big thumbs up. A 5x50 at 11.15$ for this smoke wasnt worth it.

I have noticed that the robusto (5x54) of some of my favorites are 10.00$ and the Epicure (6x54) is 10.50, the church hill(7x60) 11$ but i would consider those worth the money.

BTW my B&m is having a christmas party next saturday with Jonathon Drew and Willie herrera making an appearance. Everything Drew estate will be on sale. Any recommendations? requests? I can post whats on sale and the price when Its happening if anyone is interested. Maybe we can go half on a box or 2.

When I joined my kids were watching Yo Gabba Gabba and I always found it funny that a one eyed rubber studded phalic symbol was a character on the show. My wife use to joke that only the teeth scared her. I put it up as my avatar one day and just never changed it.

By the way try a T52 or a Herrera Esteli (if you haven't tried them before).

My son used to watch that show too. It always kind of creeped me out. Between muno and the dj guy I was always SMH and saying wtf?

Jay, Look into the Liga Privada "A" at the party. They come 2 to a "box" and are only available at events. By far one of the best Drew Estate cigars I have had, the other being the UF-13 dark.
