Being a public company, there's not a lot they can hide, particularly if you're a shareholder with a large war-chest looking to crush a number of executives. That said, there's not a lot of shareholders and fund managers willing to wage a civil war on their investment before privately peeling every layer of the onion back. This remains to be seen and like Disney, how many members on the A-B Board of Directors are actually in-favor of this campaign and providing executive guidance.

1. Social compliance and conformity is very strong in German culture, doesn't take much to guilt/cajole/shame people into 'doing what's right' there. Jay walking or, not putting recycling/compost in the right bin you're likely to receive a comment or, scolding from anybody aged 8-80.

2. Of the major European nations, Germany leans the furthest to the Left, the Green party which represents the Far Left, has more than a foothold in politics, and in many regions is the second largest political party, even in conservative Bavaria. Hard to believe but, there's political parties even more-Left than the Greens now that they are a mainstream political party/movement.
