It still sucks to go through that. I worked for a bank that fucked up BIG TIME. We all knew an acquisition or layoff was on the horizon and it was because some big wigs fucked up. The people who caused the cluster didn’t do jail time (they should have) and it felt like us peasants and low level workers felt the brunt of the big wigs fuck up.

When the peasants and low level workers fuck up, they get fired.
When the big wigs fuck up, the peasants and low level workers also get fired.

Unless that scantily-clad person was Dylan Mulvaney in a thong.

That, however, might not have panned out the way either Heinderscheid or Mulvaney hoped… it is Stugis, SD after all.

It's one thing to have your pavilion/tent and people come up to challenge your product or, issues. It's another thing all together when it gets completely ignored. Ostracism is a powerful action, everyone can see you but, they want nothing to do with you, may not even acknowledge you. The ancients were onto something.

Good luck with that, Billy. I wouldn't drink Bud Light now REGARDLESS of who owns the company and if it was being given away for FREE.

A-B shit in their own mess kit on this one and has tainted the brand for ETERNITY...

It could be done, if they had the courage to do it, and run an internet campaign to bypass the FCC censors:

We see a closeup of beautiful blonde hair from the back- apparently a woman. The person turns and it's a guy with a full beard. As the camera pulls back to show him in a pink dress, he speaks with a deep voice:

"Hi, I'm Marissa RainOrShine and I know what's best for all you fratty boys."

He pauses for a moment, looking solemnly into the camera, then breaks into a broad grin, as he yanks off the dress and wig to reveal a world-class muscled physique, tanned and ripped, wearing only boxer shorts.

"Not really! I'm a dude!!"

As the backdrop raises to reveal the fratboy party for the ages- hundreds of college-age men and scantily clad women dancing and drinking Bud Light, two stunningly beautiful women in micro bikinis appear from stage left and right and he puts an arm around each as they nuzzle him and feel his pecs.

"C'mon back, guys! The party's ON!!! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!!

He then pours a can of Bud Light on each of the two women with him as they giggle and dance.

As the camera pulls back and cranes up over the massive party, an announcer intones: "Bud Light: We're back!"

Thank you, thank you. I could fill in on the writer's strike. Razz

That actually might work as an online campaign. Big Grin

Seriously.

If it ruffles enough leftist feathers they will give you endless free advertising like they have done for Oliver Anthony (Rich Men North of Richmond)

If they managed to tap into the blue collar no bullshit tell it like it is mentality it could actually resonate so long as they flamed the shit head big wigs who caused the whole cluster.

It may work but no company in the US would be able to stand up to the media and leftist backlash. None of them have the backbone for it. From their point of view this will eventually all blow over because controversy always has before. It's better to just let the brand die.

BTW: The seasonal Sam Adams Octoberfest finally made it on tap today at the local Hooters. Good lunch.

I think the tide is turning and people are getting tired of PC woke garbage. I think a corporation could withstand a woke scolding barrage on the internet because those woke fools have a damn short attention span.

Someone just needs to show other companies that it can be done. I think such a thing is not only likely but inevitable.

Bud Lite tried that, it's not scantily clad ladies anymore! That's why they're in the mess that they are in.

Tryin to reinvent the damn wheel. It wasn't broke until someone (Heinerscheid) tried to fix it.
