I'd like to see the actual Warrant and Affidavit(s) but apparently they are conveniently under seal.

BTW Dershowitz had ties to Epstein. Of course that is not pertiment to his legal views or what he said here. I wish the Post would not go down the smear aisle.

Interesting Trump made the announcement of the raid, not the related law enforcement agency/agencies.

While Wray cut short his testimony before Congress to go on a vacation flight, they were planning this raid. Nice.

The very SECOND Pres Trump approved Wray to head up the FBI, I instantly (sub second) knew it was a mistake. How did I know ? Simple logic. He needed an FBI Director that could take names and kick ass, but instead he promoted a career civil servant, meaning he automatically and by definition hired someone already embedded in the worst practices of government employment, with the maximum chance for corruption and coverup. I was really surprised (as in shocked) Trump didn't see that or chose to ignore it or did it anyway for other reasons. I knew from that moment forward he had seriously screwed up. AND, because of that fateful decision he's still reaping the penalty, however unjust and unwarranted, a civil servant swimming in the mud will continue to crawl, breast stoke, kick through the muck until the day they retire. After that they will come back as hired guns to perpetuate the corruption, raking in big bucks for themselves and those who are cutting the checks.

Raided Safe Was Empty, Eric Trump Says
FBI agents broke into former President Donald Trump's empty safe at his Mar-a-Lago residence, according to his son Eric Trump.

Eric Trump told Fox News' Sean Hannity that he got the call about the raid and informed his father about the search. He said more than 30 FBI agents "gave absolutely no notice" before they started "ransacking an office, ransacking a closet" and broke into a safe.

Trump added that his father "didn't even have anything in the safe."

The former president also said agents broke into his safe, according to a statement, but did not disclose the contents of the safe.

Trump also said that the purpose of this raid was because "the National Archives wanted to corroborate whether or not Donald Trump had any documents in his possession."

"And my father has worked so collaboratively with them for months," he said. "In fact, the lawyer that's been working on this was totally shocked. He goes, 'I had such an amazing relationship with these people and all of a sudden, on no notice, they send, you know, 20 cars and 30 agents?'"

Eric Trump's wife, Lara Trump, told Fox News Monday night that the raid came as Democrats are "terrified" that Donald Trump will announce he is running for president again.

"They detest Donald Trump, not just on the Democrat side but the general establishment, because he's not one of them because he doesn't play their game," she said.

"They are terrified he's going to announce any day that he's running for president in 2024, and this is a very convenient way to just throw a little more mud on Donald Trump, as though they haven't already done enough," she added.


"Always legally conceal carry. At the right place and time, one person can make a positive difference."

While we might not know anything for sure, if Eric Trump was present then he would have to know what if anything was taken. The FBI, or any agency for that matter, has to leave a search warrant return with an itemized list of what was taken pursuant to the warrant. It could well be that Eric Trump saw exactly what the FBI took, and it was basically nothing, or it could possibly be that they did take nothing. I’ve certainly provided defendants and judges with search warrant returns before that stated that nothing was taken so it just might be that we can take Eric Trump precisely at his word.

The good Judge Bruce Reinhardt, didn’t seem to care much for the illegitimate President Donald Trump, back in 2017.
Ya, think the good judge has a bit of bias against President Trump, hmmm…

Reinhart attacks Trump for his lack of decency when talking about Congressman John Lewis and agrees with former Clinton advisor Robert Reich that “Donald Trump doesn’t have the moral stature to kiss John Lewis’s feet.”

Reinhard’s post was sharing a long comment from Dan Rather on Trump’s response to Democratic Congressman John Lewis claiming that Trump’s election was illegitimate due to Russian election interference—an important reminder that prominent Democrats in 2016 openly denied the legitimacy of that election and spent the next several years engaging in full on lawfare against the President. Lawfare that Reinhart himself is now participating in.

Bruce Reinhart’s liberalism runs in the family. His son, Jacob Reinhart, wrote a post on January 7, 2021, calling on friends and family to reach out to legislative representatives about the grave danger posed by President Trump still possessing access to nuclear weapons.

Can anyone explain the Presidential declassification process? From what cursory research I’ve done, the process is quite vague. As in it can be interpreted any way the current President wants to.

Is it as simple as X’ing out CLASSIFIED, and initialing? Can you write “DE-CLASSIFIED” on a bankers box of documents and call it a day? Can you just “bless” a palette of boxes saying “Declassified”?

Not being a smart ass, but is it that simple?

Maybe there’s a reason no President has ever been convicted of holding on to classified material.
