The safe was described as like a hotel safe, which was in President Trump’s office.

As described I would expect it to be empty unless President Trump was at the residence.

The safe is only relevant to the FBI’s action.

The fringe left is clearly enjoying great power in the Biden power vacuum. Terrible mistake by these people, but remember that they are still in the show trial echo chamber and think they are dealing with a dangerous criminal. President Trump deserves a lot better.

For a fishing exposition such as this, I would suggest the FBI use Penns. Probably Authority reels paired with Rampage rods.

As my mind tries to process exactly where this country stands at the moment, I am embarrassed by duality of our justice system. Either we are a nation of laws or we are not! The precedence that is being set by the mentally ill children running Congress and the DOJ is taking my breath away. We have seen former Secretaries of State using secret servers with classified documents proven to be all over devices willfully destroy evidence with no charges. Creating fake dossiers to discredit an incoming President and create a sham impeachment trial, no charges. A sitting VP that was peddling influence and taking bribes while using his crackhead son, no charges. Insider trading by the disgraceful Speaker of the House, no investigation, no charges. False accusations of insurrection with people being denied due process is shameful. Raiding my President’s personal residence is the most disgusting thing I have ever witnessed from a desperate political party that is losing their base of supporters because they’re destroying our once great nation.

I did not want Trump as the GOP candidate as I think he’s too divisive and will rally the left come Election Day. Now I believe he may be the only hope in dismantling our country’s deep state entrenched corrupt bureaucrats. Our country is dying from the cancer within and whether we call it democratic socialism or anything else it is an ideology that can not coexist in the framework of our free constitutional Democratic Republic. I am convinced that our country will have to choose to go one way or the other and I’m not yet convinced this can be fixed at the ballot box. Today, I am making a donation to Donald Trump because it is all I can think to do at the moment.

Open carry is legal in Florida if you are on a fishing expedition. Florida Statute 790.25 addresses lawful ownership, possession, and use of firearms and other weapons, and section 3(h) specifies: Anyone "engaged in fishing, camping, or lawful hunting or going to or returning from a fishing, camping, or lawful hunting expedition" can openly carry a firearm.

Not holding my breath for the homes of several other former Presidents to be searched for documents that were perhaps destined for their libraries or memoirs.

After more than a year and a half of avoiding mainstream news websites and channels, I had begun to once again frequent the FoxNews website, but, with yesterday's events, I am back to getting my news through my wife and friends and SIGforum.

With regard to mainstream media, when there's a major event, it's like chumming shark-infested waters. We've seen it all before, many times. I'm not interested.

We'll have to give it some time for all of this to become clear.

They've certainly opened Pandoras Box with this one, unless they actually find something substantial that even Trump supporters and middle of the road types see as damaging. Even Nixon was allowed to go away quietly.

Compare this to the Hillary server fiasco. Stories imply they are looking at Trump for something that is paper or physical evidence. Even if it was the most national security damaging item, it's something someone else would have to know about and get their hands on to cause actual damage.
The server contained classified and secret documents/information and all a foreign government would need to do is hack into what was apparently a consumer grade PC server. No physical contact or access needed to potentially get anything on the device.

Since nobody that's talking has released much else, this will be a source of tremendous speculation. Whoever is behind and involved must know that this is an all or nothing deal for them too. If it ends up being a big nothing, like all the other pre and post presidential "breaking scandals" surrounding Trump it will tremendously enhance his position and if he were to get back into the oval office, their futures will be bleak, as they should be. In fact, if someone else like Desantis gets in, there will also be hell to pay.

In any case, I understand not liking things about the political figure on the opposite side of your beliefs but these folks seem to be acting like a crazed spurned ex-lover, allowing all reason to escape them and their actions.

The Florida federal magistrate judge who signed off on a search warrant authorizing the FBI raid of former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort left the local US Attorney’s office more than a decade ago to rep employees of convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein who had received immunity in the long-running sex-trafficking investigation of the financier.

Sources tell The Post that Judge Bruce Reinhart approved the warrant that enabled federal agents to converge on the palatial South Florida estate on Monday in what Trump called an “unannounced raid on my home.”

Reinhart was elevated to magistrate judge in March 2018 after 10 years in private practice. That November, the Miami Herald reported that he had represented several of Epstein’s employees — including, by Reinhart’s own admission to the outlet, Epstein’s pilots; his scheduler, Sarah Kellen; and Nadia Marcinkova, who Epstein once reportedly described as his “Yugoslavian sex slave.”

Kellen and Marcinkova were among Epstein’s lieutenants who were granted immunity as part of a controversial 2007 deal with federal prosecutors that allowed the pervert to plead guilty to state charges rather than federal crimes. Epstein wound up serving just 13 months in county jail and was granted work release.

According to the outlet, Reinhart resigned from the South Florida US Attorney’s Office effective on New Year’s Day 2008 and went to work for Epstein’s cohorts the following day. Epstein, who was found dead in August 2019 of an apparent suicide in the Manhattan Correctional Center while awaiting trial on federal sex-trafficking charges, had hired a stable of high-powered lawyers, including former independent counsel Kenneth Starr.

Reinhart was later named in a civil lawsuit that accused him of violating Justice Department policies by switching sides in the middle of the Epstein investigation, suggesting he had used inside information about the probe to build favor with the notorious defendant, the Herald reported in 2018.

In a 2011 affidavit, Reinhart denied he had done anything improper and insisted that since he was not involved in the federal investigation of Epstein, he was not privy to inside information about the case.

However, in a 2013 court filing, Reinhart’s former colleagues contradicted him, saying that he had “learned confidential, non-public information about the Epstein matter.” Reinhart noted to the Herald in response that a complaint filed against him by a lawyer for Epstein’s victims had been dismissed by the Justice Department.

In his 12 years as a federal prosecutor, according to his official biography, Reinhart “managed a docket that covered the full spectrum of federal crimes, including narcotics, violent crimes, public corruption, financial frauds, child pornography and immigration.”

Reinhart is one of three federal magistrate judges in the West Palm Beach offices of the US District Court for the Southern District Court of Florida, along with William Matthewman and Ryon McCabe.

Two recent warrant applications were assigned to Reinhart and entered into the court system on Monday, the Miami Herald reported, but those warrants and information about who they targeted remain sealed. Records show another warrant was issued by Reinhart on Friday, but its contents were also sealed.

Trump confirmed media reports of a raid at his Florida resort on Monday evening, saying Mar-a-Lago was “under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents.”

The agents were reportedly searching the seaside property for boxes of classified documents Trump allegedly brought to the ritzy resort after he left the White House in January 2021, which would be a violation of federal record-keeping laws.

The National Archives and Records Administration said in February that it found classified documents in 15 boxes at Mar-a-Lago and alerted the FBI.

The removal of classified documents to unauthorized locations is banned under federal law, although Trump had wide powers when he was president to declassify documents.

The raid on Mar-a-Lago comes amid the House select committee’s continuing investigation into Trump’s role in the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the US Capitol as Congress met to certify the 2020 presidential election results.

A federal grand jury is also investigating the riot and Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election.
