My Novak adjustable sights recommended by oxcart13 are on the way! Since warranty work didn't correct the issue, I decided to spend the $ to try this option to correct the "shooting low" issue. I can't wait! Thanks for the option oxcart!

She is a very nice lady who actually, honestly, gives a shit about getting you you're gun. Pretty hard to beat a genuine person.

I'd like to see that if it's current. The pic I was sent was a brand new full size Big Grin

I actually just acquired an SDP Subcompact too and (like you) have the same issue with low point of impact with 124 grain JHPs. Did you just order Novak's adjustable rear sight or did they also have a front sight to go with it (preferably with tritium)?

There were no options for tritium with the Novaks, at least on the brownells website. I tried dealing with Kriss for warranty repair. That was a waste of time. Sorry to hear you're dealing with the same shooting low issue but glad to hear I'm not the only one. I'll let you know more later today if I get them installed. Do you have the link to the correct model Novaks according to the other poster?

I recently bought a SDP. The gun shot low if I tried to float the target just above the front post. I had to cover the target with the front sight to place the shot where I wanted it. Is this normal? Also the slide failed to lock back on an empty magazine half the time. Will this go away once the gun is broken in? Your thoughts are much appreciated.

Thanks. Actually, although I got the info on Brownells, I found that I still had one of those Novak adjustable sights that I'd replaced with some HDs on another pistol. I plan on trying them out after I see that your "remedy" has proven to be successful. Smile

One other thing: I had tritium vials installed on my old Novak adjustable sight, although they're pretty worn out now. I learned that I can have these replaced by Tool Tech (248-628-1811) and that they should be able to install a new vial on my existing (Sphinx) front sight too. The price is about $200.00 total, but considering Sphinx doesn't seem to be in a hurry to offer nightsights for these pistols from the factory and no one else is offering them as an aftermarket product, this might be the only way to go.
