I don't understand. Are all your Sigs in for repairs at the same time?

Just buy more Sigs.

More Glocks too. Wink

Only two when I bought my Glock 34. I'm not bitching though I love my Sigs. I wanted a good target gun with a long sight radius and could not swing a X5. If Dave Sevigney can win almost every IDPA he enters with a G34 than I figure it's a great target gun for $600.

Now I have to buy a G17 because of the GSSF discount. I can't pass up a gun for $425 Smile

I can't believe I did it. I relented into the dark polymer force and bought a G23. If it wasn't for the fact I got it for a REALLY sweet price, I would have passed. Don't hate me. All Sigs are entact.

and after you buy a model 36, YOU WILL STOP buying glocks and start back on sigs again.

You will sell all your Glocks or even give them away on the street corner.

You will recover from your illness.

Well I recent bought a Glock 19 gen 4 and I will have to say I'm impressed! It will definitely be my carry gun if I do carry. However, I don't have the urge to keep exploring Glocks... but I do want to get another Sig 228 and 229 and another 226 in 9mm.

I also just got a Gen4 G19, first 200 rounds were 200/200 so I'm feeling good about it. I do like how light they are, it is nice for carry.

I just bought a Glock 29..

Sorry a GLOCK 29...you have to yell that name.

I have had a passion for 10mm..so I had to have one.

I still have all my Sigs....sorry...SIGS! I need to expand my 10mm collection. I have had a couple and missed the caliber.

Cheers
Mac.

So I tried hanging out on street corners waiting for someone to give me their Glock. I got arrested, must have been hanging on the wrong street corner.

It amazes me how many people love the G36. We have it as a backup on our department and no one, and I mean on one carries it. It normally sits in the squad car in case we leave the other one at the jail by accident. I see them jam every range qualification. I am sure a lot of it is lack of proper maintenance as I can say that I have never cleaned mine in the 9 years I have had it. Mine has never malfunctioned though Smile

I'm so used to Sigs, I'm not sure I could figure out how to shoot a Glock.

I tried a Glock 26 2 years back. It shot very well and was as accurate as my P226 at close range. I traded for another Sig though for the following reasons. I like a DA/SA, I do not like the trigger safety, it was harder for me to disassemble than a Sig and lastly brand loyalty. I fortunately or unfortunately have dunk too deeply of the Sig cool aid.

I do how ever recommend it to others as the best buy for the money. Wink

All my Glocks are accurate, reliable, and carry well. Not to mention you have the best assortment of holsters to choose from.

I love my Sigs and my Glocks. Out of the box its hard to beat the Glock.

I carry a Glock as the issued duty weapon by my agency. For years, I carried a Sig P220 (European) that is my personally owned weapon, but because it was made in the 80's, it does not have the rail system on it... and I really like the light attached to my weapon system. I carry my Sig when I am in plain clothes or off duty, but the Glock is in my duty holster. I will someday be able to justify the expense of a new Sig P220 for work , but for now I will have to put up with 'ol Mr. Clunky...

I do not love the Glock, nor will I EVER love it... It is a tool that I would prefer not to have on my belt, but until I can afford the quality tool (Sig), then I will carry it.

Glocks are a fine weapon, flawless in their performance as long as absolute accuracy is not a requirement. They are meant for people who are not avid shooters, much like a point and shoot camera is perfect for the weekend snapshot photographer.

Happy hunting...
