Resistance is futile! Or so it was said as I walked past the display case that day, spoken by a model 21... Smile

I've always equated them with "Harvest Gold" or "Avocado Green" myself Wink

That's why you're in this thread, eh? To tell us you have no interest? Razz

It's flypaper, remember?

Anyways....expecting to take delivery of my new G32 tomorrow, got the HD sights already waiting (and the obligatory butt plug).

So when buying now- should it be a gen.4(because its newer) or still a gen.3(because its more tried and tested)?

I say it depends on if the gen3's feel better to you or shoot better for you than the gen4's. Some people don't like the way the finger grooves feel with the gen3's. The gen4 with the addition of the grip adapters may replicate the feel of the gen3 to some folk. Personally I prefer the gen4's in the large 9mm frames. The 19 frame feels the same to me in either gen3 or 4. The large frame 10mm/45acp frames feel a little slimmer to me than the gen3's other than the gen3 SF grip.

(I was born in the RP, btw. Smile I haven't been back to the homeland in a long time. )

Found my way here in 2010 due to my small collection and enthusiasm for Sig pistols at the time.

I remember reading this thread and thinking "Nope, NEVER going to happen. I had shot several Glocks early on and as many do blamed the gun for my poor shooting skills.

Fast forward some 20+ years of trigger time with various platforms. Shot a G19 gen4 about a month ago.
Smaller grip and better trigger control proved to be a fun hour at the range.

My new Battlefield green G19 will be in next week. I guess never say never.

We need to change the title of this thread to You will buy Glocks. The "a" is misleading. I'm up to 12 now. Damn I hate it when others are right!

The color combo looks much better in person vs photos.

Went back and got one of my favorites, the venerable Glock 19 but a Gen 2 with no finger grooves in the grip. Hard to beat.

I'd rather be tried by 12 than carried by 6

I'm looking at a G34 gen 4 with red dot. I've never had an optic on a pistol, anyone have experience or recommendations? I love the 34.

I ended up selling my 34MOS, and went with a Unity Atom slide instead. I really wanted a 34 with an RMR, but I'll eventually send my 34 slide to get milled at some point. Too many stories about the MOS having issues with the RMR mounted.
