You will buy a Glock barrel and mags... Wink

G31 barrel for my new Gen 4 G22 arrived today..

As did the three G31 mags to run 357sig..

I know I could have used my G22 mags, but I need everything to be in order..... Roll Eyes

Thinking about getting the slide and one of the barrels done in Nickel Boron like my NibX Gen 2 G22 and my FailZero Gen 3 G19..

Well I came close tonight. Was in a Farm and Home store tonight just looking around. We went over to the gun counter and was just chatting with the guy there. Just browsing and decided to look at the 2022 and a SW j frame. We got to talk about a few they had on sell and he mentioned they had a 10mm Glock. I mentioned to him the 10mm intrigued me. He asked if I wanted to see it and it was a little 29. He mentioned they had 60 day lay away. Wife gave me they look that said if you want it get it. Son said dad you need it. Middle age daughter said it was calling my name. Youngest said Daddy you need it. Walked around the store and decided I would wait on it. They were asking $549 for it but the guy said the manager may take less because he wants to move it, but wasn't in tonight. I decided I would wait just a bit longer. But I came real close. They even had 2 boxes of 10mm on the shelf.

Sure, take your time. Think it over. You wouldn't want to do anything impulsively. You need time to...ease into the idea.

I'd buy a G21 or G30S before getting a G29..
I rented a G20, didn't understand the 10MM fascination..
I prefer the more plentiful 45ACP models.

But if it feels right, do it man...

I'd look into buying a stock G32 barrel so you can 357sig thru it using the same mags.. Wink

I like the Gen 4 finger grooves better than the Gen 3 finger grooves..
But I like my Gen 1 and 2 finger groove-less Glocks the best... Big Grin

I will not buy a Glock. Not yet, anyway, and it's been, what 24 years?
I went with the P938 instead of the Glock 42.
Everybody says (my buddies, anyway) that's the better choice.

I wasn't aware that the state of Kalifornia and Kounty of Los Angeles allowed citizens to own firearms? Big Grin

That was one of the selling points for me to get the 23, I also heard that I can get a 9mm conversion barrel that fits the G23 and use mags for a 19 haven't looked into it yet though

Not much of a comparison.

The 42 is a 380 and the 938 is a 9mm.

There's still time.

Yes, the Glock 42 ("the latest thing?") is indeed a .380. But I was looking at compact 9s and they threw that in there. "It's the latest thing".
There's still time.

I could have sworn there was a pic in this thread of a gen 2 19 alongside a G42. Has anyone got such a pic, or own said combo and willing to post a pic? It would be much appreciated. Smile

I picked up my first glock yesterday. It's a model 26.
I was going to get another XD, but the siren song of the Austrian pistol won me over.
