I know the size and angle of the gun is off, but I didn't feel like spending a lot of time on this.

Is it safe?

MY position on Glocks has "moderated" somewhat. For years I have been comparing them to Brownings, Sigs etc. This isn't fair. At the risk if our offending the culinary snobs, I would say Glock is more like McDonalds. The Big Macs are pretty much consistent no matter what. It may not be "Chez Snobfart's" but you know what you are going to get. Glock may have had a couple of problems but not all of Mickey D's ideas have worked out, and I think every gun maker has had slip ups too. For the price Glock is very consistent in what they deliver. In fact I think they have done a heck of record of delivering guns that do what they promise, somewhat better, dare I say, than other makers and some that we are very familiar with around here,as of late. The numbers like 823, and letters like rxetee are running around in my head, but I can't make sense of them.

The house you lived in as a child- I'm curious, did they used lead-based paints in it?

Tried a 21 and traded it away.... Might try a g17 some day... or more likely lone wolf based version with is 1911 angle frame.

My German P226 and HKP7 are the best I have ever shot so far and are hard acts to follow.

I think somebody secretly loves the Glock.

I know this guy who once got one of those big "GLOCK" stickers for his truck. He got confused about if it went on the inside or the outside of the window so when he put it on his truck, it was upside down and basically spelled out the word "COCK".

We still make merciless fun of him to this day.

In about 25 hours I get to go pop my new to me G17's cherry. I am appropriately atwitter. And I think Big Mac is a little low as well. I'd offer Denny's chicken fried steak as a better comparison. It's not the best you'll ever find, but it works when you're hungry and rarely disappoints.
