I traded an almost NIB 239 for a G17. The 239 was a nice gun, accurate, no problems. I dont regret it, I love my Glocks. I used to think they were all hype, until my friend got me to spend a weekend with a G19. I bought one the next week, then a G23 (one of the best pistols ever made IMHO), then got the G17. My Sigs spend more time in the safe, and I havent bought a new Sig since my first Glock. Half the price, reliable, accurate, mags are cheaper, and they just keep on tickin. Whats not to love

At least, I didn't have to buy it.

It's OK.

Trigger is a little tight, which I think is making me throw rounds to the left slightly.

(My 21 was the same way. After about a 1,000 rounds it was fine.)

It's nice walking around with 16 rounds of Winchester Ranger 180 Gr. Bonded.

I'm wearing it now and don't even notice it, which I could never say with the P229.

(God, I now have as many GLOCKs as Sigs....that can't be right.)

I've owned Glocks. I can't help but like them and admire the true works of art they are, but no longer own one and never will because protecting the web of my hand from slide rash is more important to me than owning a Glock. So, while I may continue to lust for a Glock from time to time, I will never again own one.

That's it, man, fight the good fight. Resist until you can no longer do so.

Then go buy a Glock.

This thread is hysterical!

I'd like some of Parabellum's moonshine or whatever he is drinking!

And yes I do have a G17 buried in a drawer in the garage.

I try to like Glock, but it hasn't happened yet. Ive shot a few Glocks, but fail to see what the draw is. I will admit there was ONE model, the number escapes me at the moment, that felt o.k. and I shot well with it.

Once I bought an M&P I felt no desire whatsoever for a Glock.... O.K. O.K. , so MAYBE I would buy a G20 or G29 some day.

I have had most all brands of firearms over the past few years.

I currently have more Glocks than any single brand. Of all the pistols I have sold/traded I regret only the Glocks.
