My G29 is jealous because it is going to sit in a cold dark place when the P220 10mm arrives.

I know you probably don't mean it to be belittling, but you're not giving the marketing and product management folks at SIG enough credit. I've talked to them on several occasions and their methodologies are much more sophisticated and market-sensitive than that.

Customer Service is the designated interface that SIG has set up, but I can assure you that some very important people with offices in Pease do in fact read this forum.

Calling would help, but even if you don't, this forum is getting a message across--let's try to make sure it's the right one.

I really didn't intend to be insulting of the marketing/CS/sales guys. But at the moment this stands as an engineering achievement rather than a marketing one as they haven't even started marketing it yet. Thus I had hoped to direct accolades to the engineer types who anonymously slave away at drafting tables late into the night.

(OK. I also know that computers have replaced drafting tables, but it just doesn't have the right literary ring to it.)

Now where did you say I should send the check?

God Bless and Protect President Donald John Trump.

That SAO 5 inch barrel one sure sounds sweet. I sure hope this isn't years away. I've been patiently waiting for the 1911 in 357 Sig to be released, which has been advertised for some time now. One day... Cool

Thank you Sig Sauer!

I desperately want 10 mm performance. I have saved $550 for the new pistol and actually considered buying a Glock this week. The only thing I like about the Glock is the caliber choices. Otherwise, I would never consider one.

My only decision now is: Do I want an SSE or a Match SSE?

Thank you Bruce for showing it is viable. Thank you Para for the great forum and getting our voices heard.

THANK YOU SIG SAUER!

BTW, SIG-Sauer is developing 10mm ammunition for their new blasters.

I hope it's the wrist-twister stuff. I lubs me some recoil!

Thank you President Trump.

I appreciate the enthusiasm of those members requesting a group buy, but we are getting way ahead of the curve with that stuff right now. Once we get a bit further down the road, we'll have a better idea if such a thing is possible for the forum.

Wow, fantastic news! Not just that they are actually making it, but that Para got to make the announcement here at SIGforum!

Also kudos to Bruce and company for showing it could be done!

Just think if they started all of the serial numbers with SF. Big Grin

These are heady days for SIG enthusiasts, and for SIGforum. We have yet even more to reveal to you, in the form of advanced announcement of product releases, and with the forum's renewed relationship with SIG-Sauer.

I can't wait to get my hands on one. It is awesome that the Forum and SIG-Sauer have a renewed relationship. This is one caliber handgun I've never owned or shot but always lusted after.

P220 Match Elite 10mm, stainless, long slide, 5" barrel, traditional DA/SA trigger

I will be buying this.
I see the current rendition has a rail.
Ohh how I loathe the rail on most guns but especially the P Series.
I am so hoping for no rail.
Though it will be purchased regardless.
