As a "professional" athlete, I bet she can excel at her work camp. Make the best of any situation my Grammy used to say. Her experiences of poverty and hard knocks growing up in Italy and making it to the land of opportunity and through the great depression and all. Told us how lucky we were to be born here and to never get soft, and don't waste stuff. Aaaaanyway.

Sounds like the Russians do some rail car therapy first since the transfer can take a week. I heard that you had to listen to the Russian National Anthem on a daily basis first thing in the morning. Wonder if she will stand.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ My understanding is that she will probably be put to work sewing Police and military uniforms. I doubt playing in the WNBA is good preparation for that. I think playing a professional sport and making all the money she has will make things more difficult for her than the average individual.
