#1 My understanding is that as soon as Black signed the 4473 and checked 21a as "yes" rather than "no", he committed a 4473 violation.

#2 Dominick Black has not been charged by Binger about a 4473 violation

I think a 4473 violation would be charged by DoJ

Exactly, thanks, it's important because it's one more step by .gov that will be used to solidify the position on straw purchases.

Be interesting if the charge on the 4473 does become relevant, since 99.99% of people that get denied on an attempt to buy a gun through an FFL that fill out the 4473 probably misrepresented themselves on a federal form and were caught in the validation process.

Can't say I've heard of anyone that had a gun purchase denied by .gov arrested for false information on a 4473....

Then start another thread where you can enlighten everybody and dazzle us with your knowledge of straw man purchases.

Give it a rest in this thread please.

Seconded. That discussion doesn't belong in this thread. Frankly anyone can argue their opinion about straw purchases till they're blue in the face but until a judge rules on it will we know how the law is applied according to a specific set of circumstances so debating it here is moot.

Why is everyone interested in a technicality to stifle gun ownership/possession?
I err more on the side of everyone can have a gun for any reason anywhere but that I know seems extreme but in reality I am more concerned on actually doing something with them that you shouldn't than simply owning or possessing one.
But that is just me. Eek

There is some detailed discussion about it between Viva and Barnes. The video should start automatically at 23:55.

Beto weighs in:

Beto O’Rourke: Rittenhouse Saga ‘Makes the Case’ Against AR-15

"Beto O’Rourke suggested during an appearance on CNN’s State of the Union that the Kyle Rittenhouse saga “makes the case” against AR-15 ownership.

Host Dana Bash asked O’Rourke to give his take on the Rittenhouse “not guilty” verdict. O’Rourke answered:

This entire tragedy makes the case that we should not allow our fellow Americans to own and use weapons that were originally designed for battlefield use. That AR-15, that AK-47, has one single, solitary purpose, and that is killing people as effectively, as efficiently, and in as great a number in as little time as possible.

He added, “We saw that in Kenosha, we saw that in El Paso, Texas, where 23 people were murdered by someone with an AK-47 just in a matter of minutes.”

O’Rourke then circled back to his gubernatorial run in Texas, where he says he wants to “protect the Second Amendment” and increase gun control at the same time.

On December 4, 2019, Breitbart News reported National Shooting Sports Foundation figures showing Americans owned approximately 420 million firearms at that time, around 18 million of which were AR-15s and similar rifles."

If I may be permitted to quote myself in explanation, it is valuable data gathering:

Perhaps the transportation secretary should stick within his own bailiwick… And focus on those Dudley-do-right red SUVs. Especially the high-capacity ones.

Come and get mine asshat, or STFU. Battlefield use? Yet another retarded comment from one of the dumbest people in the country.

Yep, and that's the reason everyone owns them. Why would someone buy a firearm that sucks at its intended use. And for the record, 'all' firearms where designed to take life.

More stupidity on steroids complements Francis the 'Tard. Yep, protect the 2A by usurping everyone's rights to own firearms. Makes perfect sense.

No one (RichardC included) has ever said that Beto was a Mensa member or candidate. Quite the contrary. Brain Dead Beto does serve to lilustrate the absolute delusional ill-informed lunacy of the left.

Mystery solved.
Kyle Rittenhouse did not pull back his charging handle.
He hit the forward assist to seat the bolt.

It's not like we weren't expecting this, you KNEW this was going to happen!

Hopefully KR was able to secure his assets right after the incident.
