My suspicions on Ryan is that he only "supported" Trump to draft in behind him for Trump's support with the unwashed. This was likely a calculated move to secure his own reelection in the primary. He knows that Repubs in his district will hold their nose and vote for him. Once this was completed, he had no further need or use for Trump, and ditched him at the first possible moment.

Just watched "Meet the Press". I timed it. 8 minutes for Pence, 52 minutes for bashing Trump. It was fucking awful. Pence was the only one bringing up Wikileaks and they kept shutting him down any time he would bring it up. Weird, one would think that there's some interesting reporting in some of it
