Damn, Martha got her ass kicked. After watching Meet the Press I couldn't force myself to watch any more talking head shows. Newt beat the shit out of her.

I've read the posts from this morning from those foolish-enough to allow the Sunday morning "talk shows" into their homes. The same thought kept occurring to me: we're 23 days from the election and the media is in an absolute crisis because they haven't figured out a slander that will sway the will of the American people. Trump isn't going away.

It's going to take something much more significant, something "nuclear", to change the outcome. The EC path is tight for Trump but it is solid. As we sit here on October 16th, I don't see how Trump loses (short of the most amazing fraud in American election history.)

I think Trump has a good chance at putting this to bed tonight. Right now there is enough stuff floating around out there that its all tee'd up for him. He just needs to have a good swing and solid contact with the ball.

The "morning shows" really dont bother me. Honestly...who watches "Meet The Press" anymore except other media and beltway types. Same with all of them. Most folks on a Sunday are trying to relax and recoup from the previous weeks screwing. Sure, the networks will take cue off them but again...whats their viewership anymore? Can they even measure it anymore?

There is a genuine groundswell of disgust amongst the electorate this year. Its palpable. Trump has run his campaign on it. Folks are scared I think. Theyre scared of the future, theyre scared of which way to turn. All he has to do is show the alternative and give folks the reason to trust him.

I will be working tonight so will miss the match. Hoping to come here afterwards for the commentary.

We shall see.

I'd concur...DT's biggest opponent is the media. I doesn't matter how legit information he has, if the media won't broadcast it, it's practically worthless (tree falling in the forest and nobody there to hear it kind of thing). Short of a picture of her playing checkers with Osama himself, the media just ain't going to give it anything more than a few seconds of air time.

Even Saturday Night Live was in full on DT slam mode, and that he had handed her the election, calling her President Clinton. It was grossly disgusting.

The REAL news, undeniably for anybody with a BRAIN ON, is the threats to national security, the corruption, the cover up, congressional investigations, etc going RIGHT NOW. NOT decade old+ unfounded accusations from individuals who have OBVIOUSLY strategically staged this smear campaign.

I wonder when the director is going to wake up and realize he's been a pawn who's about to be thrown under the bus by quite possibly one of the corrupt people on the planet.

The media really needs to start having the tables turned on them...MSM needs to be asking why they are DELIBERATELY ignoring news related to NATIONAL SECURITY.

All I can say is at least we have social media, Twitter, and the likes, otherwise, DT absolutely wouldn't stand a change.

And I really hope he takes it up another notch or two at the next debate. He needs to basically over-ride (tactfully) the moderators and press her for answers, and not allow the trademark dodges she so often gets away with.

The Donald a 60year old billionaire, obviously had never dealt with cunningly manipulative people before. A tad funny all the brilliant minds of the Lame Stream Media missed this possible angle.

I'm beginning to wonder if Trump may win Minnesota. Hillary has been spending a lot of money advertising here. You wouldn't think she would need to.

I drove 4 hours through Minnesota down to my brothers place this weekend. Hundreds of Trump signs. Most of them home made. One guy even had a old school bus parked at the edge of his field all painted up Trump!

It's a slim chance but I think it's possible. I can't remember the last time Minnesota did not go Democrat.

Is Gingrich right--would Trump be up by 15 points if not for the media?

I think he exaggerated a bit; 15 points is absurd.

I would say he'd realistically be about 14 points ahead.

I think the media swings the election by 3-4 points in most years, but they try to feign objectivity when they do this. This year, they are coming through your TV with their guns blazing and an all-out assault on America. 15 points may be high, but they are working a lot harder than normal this time around.

Minnesota is one of a few states that were once considered "safe" for Hitlery but are now considered too close to call. MN would be huge, as it would mean Trump could lose one of AZ, CO or NV and not have it be a disaster. Don't count Trump out of Wisconsin yet, either.

That's quite an effect of the media then.

I think the Hildebeast is worried that if Trump wins, she might go to jail

after all, she's not been charged so unless the black bastard pardon's her (which means she was guilty all along), not only might she end up in prison but worse yet, the Clinton Foundation funds may be seized as evidence and she loses all the money she swindled

they left the WH broke...remember that...dead broke...

If Trump wins, a LOT of people might go to jail. The corruption in America is wide and deep. That is why the attacks on Trump come from every direction.
