...In viewing recordings by The Hill of each major network's evening newscasts, which are watched by an average total of 22 million to 24 million people nightly, the newest batch of WikiLeaks revelations was covered for a combined 57 seconds out of 66 minutes of total air time on ABC, NBC and CBS.

Those leaked emails include derogatory comments about Catholics by senior Clinton campaign officials and more disturbing examples of collusion between the media and her campaign....

On the other hand, allegations from four women of unwanted sexual advances by Trump were covered a combined 23 minutes....

Speaker of the House Paul Ryan has refuted Donald Trump’s claims that the upcoming presidential election will be rigged against him, saying that he is “confident” that there will be no foul play in the electoral process.

“Our democracy relies on confidence in election results, and the speaker is fully confident the states will carry out this election with integrity,” Ryan’s press secretary told BuzzFeed.

why would we ever believe anything Ryan ever says ?

pretty sad right now. I don't trust anyone in govt.

Americans are nonetheless pessimistic about the likelihood that our divisions can be bridged.

A whopping 80 percent of voters say that the United States is more divided today than ever before, and most of those believe these divisions are likely to continue far into the future.

My suspicions on Ryan is that he only "supported" Trump to draft in behind him for Trump's support with the unwashed. This was likely a calculated move to secure his own reelection in the primary. He knows that Repubs in his district will hold their nose and vote for him. Once this was completed, he had no further need or use for Trump, and ditched him at the first possible moment.

Wasn't sure if this was the best thread to post this. But, could/should be a major issue for Trump to bring up. From the Podesta #9 dump this morning.

They want to push the narrative of hate crimes to control gun laws

Absolutely tasteless and disgusting for him to say a comment like that and joke about shootings.

Big discussion inside the Hillary campaign whether to take money from people who are registered as "foreign agents" according to the FARA, the Foreign Agents Registration Act. The final decision? taking the money from foreign agents: "Hi all – we do need to make a decision on this ASAP as our friends who happen to be registered with FARA are already donating and raising." Robby Mook-"I'm ok just taking the money and dealing with any attacks. Are you guys ok with that?" Palmieri "Take the money!!"

I hear ya. But, this is for her presidential campaign - not Clinton Foundation. Also, shows they clearly knew and decided to ignore law and spin it if they got caught.

LOL, Is there really any difference between that BS foundations and her campaign? I seriously doubt it. She is and remains pure unadulterated evil..

One of the main reasons I believe all this "Russians are trying to sway the election" stuff is bullshit from them.

Its THEY who are getting money from foreign governments and most likely the oligarchs. Its more of the typical left projection. It makes you pause and realize how truly screwed we all are if she wins.

The clinton foundation got $145 million dollars from russians and the russians got 20% of our uranium processing capacity in exchange.

My tinfoil hat says the "Russians are trying to sway the election" is a setup so when Trump wins they have a fallback and will point to the polls saying the election was stolen.

To be fair, they only do things like this when they are alone or with somebody and only on days ending in Y.

Thats my thought as well.

The Russian economy is basically run like a criminal syndicate. Very similar to ANOTHER organization we're all aware of...

Just watched "Meet the Press". I timed it. 8 minutes for Pence, 52 minutes for bashing Trump. It was fucking awful. Pence was the only one bringing up Wikileaks and they kept shutting him down any time he would bring it up. Weird, one would think that there's some interesting reporting in some of it Roll Eyes

Gingrich: 20 Media Executives Are Launching A "Coup D'Etat" Against Millions Of Trump Voters

In an interview with 'This Week' co-host Martha Raddatz, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich categorized Donald Trump's 'rigged election' claims as a "coup d'etat" against fourteen million citizens who voted for Donald Trump in the Republican primary committed by "20 media executives."

"This is about last Friday when the networks spent 23 minutes on the Trump tape," he said. "And less than one minute -- all three networks combined -- less than one minute on the Hillary Clinton’s secret speeches that were being revealed on WikiLeaks."

"I think it’s amazing that Trump is as close as he is right now, considering the one-sidedness of the news media barrage," Gingrich said.

He also said: "I’m old enough to remember when Richard Nixon had the election stolen in 1960 and no serious historian doubts that Illinois and Texas were stolen. So to suggest that we have -- that you don’t have theft in Philadelphia is to deny reality."

MARTHA RADDATZ, ABC HOST: You heard Tim Kaine talk about his concerns over charges of a rigged election, but Mr. Trump has been continuing to ramp up the rhetoric in tweets and speeches. Senator Jeff Sessions joined the chorus yesterday saying they are attempting to rig the election. So who are "they" and how are they doing this?

NEWT GINGRICH: Well, I think they are the news media. This is not about election officials at the precinct level. This is about last Friday when the networks spent 23 minutes on the Trump tape and less than one minute -- all three networks combined -- less than one minute on the Hillary Clinton’s secret speeches that were being revealed on WikiLeaks. And you look at that and you say -- I mean, I think it’s amazing that Trump is as close as he is right now, considering the one-sidedness of the news media barrage.

And the best description of it is by Barry Castleman in his blog where he said this is a coup d’etat. Fourteen million citizens and private ballots picked Donald Trump, 20 TV executives have decided to destroy him.

RADDATZ: But you say it’s not at the precinct level, but Trump has also told people to monitor polling stations.

GINGRICH: They should. You look at Philadelphia, you look at St. Louis, you look at Chicago, I mean, again I’m old enough, I remember when Richard Nixon had the election stolen in 1960 and no serious historian doubts that Illinois and Texas were stolen. So to suggest that we have -- that you don’t have theft in Philadelphia is to deny reality.

RADDATZ: So you really think this election could be stolen. Do you believe that if Mr. Trump loses, it will be because of a massive conspiracy or fraud, not because more Americans voted for someone else?

GINGRICH: I think that without the unending one-sided assault of the news media, Trump would be beating Hillary by 15 points. I think when you look at WikiLeaks and you look at all the things she has said, when you look at the deals in Russia that Bill Clinton made, and that the Clinton Foundation -- I mean, all this nonsense by Kaine about Russia, it’s Clinton, Bill Clinton, who got a half a million dollar speech. It is the Clintons who got money for the Clinton Foundation from Russia. It is -- it is Podesta who was on a Russian company advisory board that was apparently funded by Putin.

So the news media’s one-sidedness is the worst I’ve seen in my lifetime, and I’m old enough that’s a fairly long statement.
