I don't understand. It didn't sound like a concession speech. And what's up with all the people crying? These are the types of people who support her? Good lord, what a sorry bunch. I saw a clip of some normal folks in Russia that were happy that Trump won. They were happy to see a voice of freedom win. They prize freedom and democracy and know the difference better than many Americans it seems. In true form, looks like Oakland had protests and freeway interruptions and businesses vandalized by her supporters. Nice. To think this could have been the party in power is scary. The 20-year-old woman was among 200 protesters who surged onto Highway 24 at the border of Oakland and Berkeley at 12:10 a.m. when she was struck by a Honda Element in the eastbound lanes near the Claremont Avenue exit. “All I could think of is this is somebody’s daughter — and the fact that it came from this action on the freeway,” said one of the women who was in the SUV and did not give her name. “I just want everybody to be okay. We need to stick together at a time like this.” The CHP momentarily shut down the highway as they tended to the woman, who was rushed to an area hospital with what CHP Sgt. Matt Langford described as “major injuries.” The CHP moved the protesters off the freeway and they dispersed throughout the area. The group was one of several to protest the election of Donald Trump to the White House. Several other groups descended on Frank Ogawa Plaza in Oakland, where at least one fire was lit on the street, prompting BART to shut down 12th Street station. In Berkeley, meanwhile, dozens of protesters marched along Telegraph chanting, “Not my president!” Highway 24 remained shutdown for nearly an hour. “I’m perplexed,” said Charlie Wright, 45, sitting in his pickup truck stopped on the highway. “I wonder how long this is going to take. I’m very concerned. It’s very possible I’m not getting any sleep tonight.” Wright said he didn’t vote in the presidential election because he couldn’t make a decision.
