Listen, if we're going to cal something a "rope hat", the dang thing better be made of one single length of hemp rope, fashioned into a hat. I envision something a Jamaican would wear.

Tom Brady was just asked about the "Make America Great Again" hat in his locker. Says "it'd be great" if Trump won.

The Five on Fox is already down talking Trump and saying Carson is in a virtual tie with him.
Also comments on how Trump has the most to lose and the others particularly Carson and Fiorina have the most to gain tonight.

There is a all out media assault in progress on Trump now. If he is still around and polling well in another month he may just take it home.

Not a big Ann Coulter fan and didn't even read her article at Townhall but the title is great.

I finally got my CNN international stream going on the ROKU. Can't wait to watch.

Apparently someone that looks like Nancy Reagan sat down. They showed her and announced it was Nancy. But then they rescinded saying it wasn't. That was very strange.

These go to eleven.

the most interesting part of tonight will be, for me, seeing how objective or rigged/engineered the "debate" itself turns out, and the degree to which it may turn out to be an orchestrated attack on The Donald that stops short of true conspiracy theories and simply demonstrates how unbiased cable news is and perhaps how in bed with the establishment / unfriendly to Trump they really are.

the sham of the recent one FIX News / Megyn hosted was ridiculous.

The Democrats really have declared war on America.

http://www.breitbart.com/big-g...donald-trump-debate/

Facebook billionaire Mark Zuckerberg is out with an attack ad targeting Donald Trump ahead of tonight’s GOP debate through his immigration lobbying group FWD.us

In an ad entitled, “The Parable of Pete Wilson,” Zuckerberg’s group lectures the Republican Party on the need to pass so-called “immigration reform,” which, in this context, means mass amnesty combined with more foreign workers on visas for big businesses.

Although Zuckerberg is a liberal progressive, his group claims to be concerned that the Republican Party will “lose ground” in the general election if it doesn’t capitulate to the big business immigration agenda.

The actual reason California turned blue after the Wilson’s popular prop 187 was blocked was because the ensuing flood of immigrant voters into California favored big government policies by a margin of 2-1.

Today, after four decades of record-high green card issuances, half of California children have a foreign-born parent.

Studies have documented that where immigration increases, so too does the enrollment of the Democratic party.

A 2014 report authored by University of Maryland professor James Gimpel, found that, “the enormous flow of legal immigrants in to the country — 29.5 million 1980 to 2012 — has remade and continues to remake the nation’s electorate in favor of the Democratic Party.”

Examining the data in this study led Washington Examiner columnist Byron York to conclude: “The bottom line is that more immigration favors Democrats; there is no prediction of Democratic electoral ascendancy that doesn’t rely on demographic factors as the main engine of the party’s dominance.”

http://www.powerlineblog.com/a...is-going-nowhere.php

The Census Bureau released its income and poverty numbers for 2014 today.

“Wages have been broadly stagnant for a dozen years and median household income peaked in 1999.”

Asian households had the highest median income in the United States at $74,300 in 2014.

The median income for non-Hispanic white households was $60,300, for black households $35,400 and Hispanic households $42,500.

The median income for white households decreased by 1.7 percent between 2013 and 2014, while there was no statistically significant change for black, Asian, and Hispanic households.

The Asian-American population is now approaching 20 million, and their household incomes are now 23% higher than whites’, on the average. This is a rather stunning statistic.

Why is so little attention paid to this income “gap”? Is it the result of discrimination against whites? If not, what could the cause possibly be?

There is a poll on Drudge that asks a very simple question. "Who won the 2nd debate.

Trump has 62% of the vote, the next is Fiorina with 14%. Over 109,000 people have voted in the poll.

Same as it ever was. When most people respond to these questions, they are simply telling you who they favor. It's just further evidence of the meaninglessness of polls.
