Karl Rove suggested repealing the 2nd is the only way to dramatically reduce gun violence.

I don't think so.

Rove was not advocating repeal, merely acknowledging that doing that would be the only way to regulate guns.

It won't happen. Rove knows that and should not be understood otherwise.

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

Alabama

The Donald Trump rally at Ladd-Peebles Stadium Friday is expected to draw 40,000 people, making it the biggest event so far in the 2016 presidential primary campaign.

Stadium manager Vic Knight said the event is "rain or shine" and that there is not an alternative location. There is a 55 percent chance of rain by 7 p.m.

Rove saying repealing the 2nd is the only way to reduce gun violence shows me what an idiot he is. The only way? Roll Eyes Yeah, what a loser.

It looks like Greta is going to cover the event. I reckon I'll be watching it for lack of nothing better to do tonight.

Watched a interview with Cruz today , I think he is starting to see what the attraction to Trump is. He said he liked Trump.

At least Trump is not afraid to speak the truth and tell us what he thinks and what he will do.

I'm no fan of Rove or his ilk; however, he was merely stating that from a Devil's Advocate point of view. That quote is old news and never meant anything in the first place.

Don't forget the meeting between Trump and Cruz before all this shit kicked off. Cruz is a brilliant lawyer but lacks Trump's charisma.

Well hell, Ted Nugent couldn't have said it better.

If his position on the 2nd Amendment really is that strong, what reason is there not to support him at this point?

Trump just said a lobbyist recently offered him money.

Trump said maybe he should take the money and then screw him. He wouldn't do anything for the lobbyist.

Trump just gave his first magazine cover interview to The Hollywood Reporter (perhaps to shore up some support in Commieland). It is actually an interesting interview. When asked if Michael Bloomberg will support him:

"I don't know. He is a friend of mine, he likes me. I saved him on the big project in the Bronx [Trump Golf Links at Ferry Point], which was taking years. It's been under construction for 25 years, and I got it built in 11 months, got it open [in April]. We are on the opposite side of the spectrum on guns. So for that reason alone perhaps he wouldn't. "
