I applaud you for trying to inject some humor here with "I can't imagine any grounds to impeach." Shit, they impeached him for quid pro quo on the basis of a phone call asking for an investigation on a quid pro quo by Biden. They obviously have a lot more imagination than you and I.

Thank you for posting that. Maybe that'll refresh a memory or two....not likely because there's a few too many thick heads in here, but who knows.

The situation is pretty depressing. I don't doubt that there were Trump supporters in the crowd that stormed the capitol but how they got there (cops removing the barriers, cops leading them up the staircase, etc) and who led them there (antifa, people who were in BLM protests, climate change demonstrations, etc) as a pretext and cover for confirming Biden and Kamala. They did not even want to go through the process of the objections. I can believe this was a false flag because what, their objective was to steal a lectern and take selfies??? WTF?

It's like "They Live" was actually a documentary rather than a sci fi novel.

They will eviscerate Trump to destroy his legacy and as a warning to anyone else who thinking of trying to upend the apple cart.

I'm not happy with the events of the past 4 years and the constant assault on Conservatives, but am reminded:

We survived Jimmy Carter.
We survived BJ Clinton.
We survived Rino Bush.
We survived Barry the Krimson Kenyan.
We WILL survive Joe and the Ho.

This is so much more than surviving the next four years. They stole the election. They have cheated before (2016). But this was more brazen in your face - nobody's going to stop us - nothing to see here.

There will never again be a fair election, the ballot box is done.

The socialist machine will not be stopped unless enough band together and use force. And it would seam that to many are happy the way the country is headed.

The intensity is infinitely more than all the prior years.
It used to be just a sight tug of war with incremental changes.
NOW it is a death match and the stakes are sky high.

Just brushing it off as surviving is a just not looking at the times today.

I didn't expect it would happen so early, but the 1st patriot was murdered (yes cold blooded murder), an unarmed 14-yr USAF vet, at the hand of a coward cop at the Capitol to protect the criminals inside. Like I said back on December 11, expect to see more patriots die in the coming years fighting the demons that now have total control of the system. The Obama years was just the rehearsal. They have learned from it, and they clearly showed it this past year.

Those of you who still want to "work within the system" to effect any meaningful changes, good luck trying, with no gear, to climb out of that vertical ice cave that same corrupt system put you in. And those who keep insisting that this was a free and fair election with no evidence of fraud, and that Trump lost fair and square, I have a lot of choice words for you not suitable for printing.

As to what laws & orders these criminals might have coming down the pike, I will not obey, will not comply and will not submit to tyranny.

I used to be kinda of ambivalent on Lindsay Graham. No more. Eff that traitor swap rat. He owes his seat to Trump. Too bad he can't be recalled and has six more years to shore up his likely lifetime seat.

Anyone who still has faith that politicians will do what is just and right for this country need to be examined by mental health professionals. The only group I have a higher disdain for are lawyers. Amazing how many lifelong politicians are also lawyers isn't it?

Trump protesters breaching the metal barrier outside of the Capitol.
Capitol Police acted quickly, throwing the fence aside to protect themselves.
Notice the rabid look in the eyes of the Trump supporters.

Seriously does this really look like an angry mob.
The Capitol Police pulled the barrier aside, why?

The disrespect shown this President while he was in office and the disrespect he is being shown now is disgusting.

Thank you President Trump for what you have done for us, but I'm sorry for what it has cost you.

After Jan. 20th, still my President.

President Trump did not condone those who bum rushed the capitol. In fact, he asked everyone to go home peacefully and called out out the National Guard and FBI (when you call out the FBI do they send a guy?). That kind of activity is not what President Trump stands for. That said, as a 20yr retired military service member, if President Trump himself called me to enlist help in overthrowing the U.S. government, I wouldn't go ... not yet anyway. I'll protect mine and my home but won't be putting my life on the line again, just yet. I'll take real good care of the things I do have control over.

Because of my view that they have had far more consequence, I believe them to be far more relevant right now than the capital.
Yeah this is one of our biggest problems. We cant get any message out to the public. How do we run any campaign? How do we fight the democrats policies when the media controls all information?

Yeah the next four years will be far worse than those prior administrations - why? Simple... the times are far different - doxing, de-platforming, cancel culture, toxic masculinity, identity culture, microaggressions, transgressions (yeah I know just sounded timely and funny to add) and a system where there is less moral support to do the right thing. Combined with an all or nothing from the left, let alone reasoning with others there is no way but their way.

Going to be interesting times if you don't run with the herd and this administration has a clear path to do what they want fully supported with little friction if any. With the assistance of the MSM they can grease the friction away through optics, control the narrative and the herd will abide

And before anyone says that's a defeatist attitude. Hell no - its simply an assessment of what will be a likely reality and lay of the land in a country where the underpinnings are now fully aligned to their benefit.

Defeat would be to take it in the ass - I aim to misbehave (as long as I can still pick up my take out and come home and watch netflix...) In all seriousness I do not know what anyone's misbehavior will be - but its certainly time to start noodling it if there ever was a time

ETA - and I am fully aware O's terms had many of the social issues during his term including doxing etc but no where near the level of the last few years - its full on now - before it was kindergarten level, its now graduated top of the class
