The problem with DJT is he actually tried to fix things. Upset the Apple cart way too much and people almost saw behind the curtain…

I frankly do not see a way a "national divorce" could be made to work -- the states on each side are not all adjacent and there are enclaves of each imbedded within areas of the other. The major blue states are California, New York, and Illinois, and there is no connectivity between them. The red states are better in that regard, but what do you do with New Mexico? I just can's see it.

I'm going to repost this from Chris Rock, with Pelosi and Biden cabinet members in the Kennedy Center audience.

”Are you guys really going to arrest Trump?” Rock said. “Do you know this is only going to make him more popular? It’s like arresting Tupac. He’s just gonna sell more records. Are you stupid?

N.Y idiots are playing checkers. Trump, the chess player, has a significant track record against these type of morons. All we can do is watch...

I will happily contribute if it is guaranteed not to go to any of the other slimy RINO bastards.

Short of sending a check to Mar-A-Lago, what is the best way to do that? I thought WinRed was a fund/pool that they all tapped into.

Maybe worst in this development is the door is opened for tin pot DA's and prosecutors to bring baseless charges, open lawfare on multiple fronts.

If ever there was a time to avoid the old media bastards' triumphalism, it's now.

Great idea.

I think everyone here, no matter how they personally feel about Trump, knows this indictment is extremely weak sauce bullshit. They can't get anything from this, they know it. As Para stated, they just want a mugshot or bragging rights to an "arrest" so they can hang it around Trump's neck to make him appear to be a criminal so hopefully morons will believe it and not vote for him.

This is further proof the Democrats are extremely frightened of him, they know he can win 2024

That is more or less what I've been saying by letting that precedent happen.

Of course, the Republicans could pull all stops and go lawfare scorched earth on the Democrats. With the mountain of evidence out there it would be a total circus.

Rope a dope - this takes the tranny Christian killing freak off the front page and this deflects patriot energy to oppose the Tic Tok restriction (internet freedom & privacy destroying bill) and it keeps PDJT handicapped in the election.

Styx666 has become my voice of reason since Para introduced him by posting some of his podcasts. He sees/explains current events clearly and his opinion is that Tic Tok bill is giving away the internet privacy - freedom that will never be regained once its lost and this bill is the main thing patriots should be concerned with defeating.

Probably hoping for a MAGA response to the tranny rage w-end plans and beware instigators and plants. Perilous times and most words are lies.

I could've sworn I saw a headline yesterday or this morning that this jury and the indictment proceedings would be taking a month off. So what the hell happened in the last 12 to 24 hours?

They obviously voted to indict before the one month break.

Fox News' site didn't state what the actual indictment was. Therefore, I googled it and read an interesting article on a liberal website about the indictments. Once I got past all of the liberal nonsense, the part that jumped out at me about the indictment is that the statute of limitations has passed, but the Manhatten DA is arguing the statue of limitations was suspended while Trump was in office.
quote:
blah, blah, blah

The first issue that Bragg has is time. Trump committed the underlying campaign finance offense in 2016, and the statute of limitations on bookkeeping fraud and campaign finance violations is five years. That brings you to 2021. The statute of limitations for tax evasion is three years. Even if you don’t start the clock on that until the story breaks in the news in 2018, that brings you, once again, to 2021. To get to 2023, Bragg appears to be arguing that the statute of limitations paused while Trump was president and living out of state. That’s… a theory, but not necessarily a good one, and certainly not one that has been tested enough to know how it’s going to hold up in the courts.

blah, blah, blah

DeSantis Responds to Indictment of President Trump

Moments after former President Donald Trump was indicted by a Manhattan grand jury, Gov. Ron DeSantis has denounced the prosecution and indictment, calling it "un-American."

"The weaponization of the legal system to advance a political agenda turns the rule of law on its head. It is un-American. The Soros-backed Manhattan District Attorney has consistently bent the law to downgrade felonies and to excuse criminal misconduct. Yet, now he is stretching the law to target a political opponent. Florida will not assist in an extradition request given the questionable circumstances at issue with this Soros-backed Manhattan prosecutor and his political agenda," stated Gov. Ron DeSantis

Gov. DeSantis recently said that he would not get involved in the case, but appears to have changed his position with this statement.

"The NY Grand jury’s decision to indict Fmr Pres Trump is yet again another example of the Dems weaponization of our Justice system. The Soros backed NY DA Alvin Bragg is trying to escalate a case other courts would not even take up. The accused misdemeanor was also increased to felony charge by the DA and first time in history a Fmr U.S. President has ever been indicted.

This is clearly an attempt to intimidate Pres. Trump and influence the upcoming 2024 elections. The accusation regarding “hush money” should have been cut dry when Stormy Daniels herself signed a letter admitting no such transaction took place.

This is a clear witch hunt to distract and help a failing Biden in his attempt to remain in the Oval Office," stated Rep. Cory Mills.

Much of the country does see it. The important thing right now is to remain calm and let's see how this plays out.

Believe me- I'm thoroughly disgusted, but I'm not going to give the leftist garbage any satisfaction. My feeling is that this shameful act will not produce the effect they desire.

I agree 100% and feel this will blow up in their face as it should. They should be ashamed of themselves.
