I think he was a she. "After the Secret Service agent fired her service weapon..." "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown "The United States government is the largest criminal enterprise on earth." -rduckwor

I was thinking lasers as well, but figured someone would have seen that. IR not so much. ETA: Just saw this: https://jdrucker.substack.com/...ked-with-an-infrared Was Trump Attacked With an Infrared Laser, Sending 20+ People to the ER? The weapon is compact and the light is invisible. Nobody would feel anything until later. Is there a better explanation for what happened? JD Rucker Sep 19, 2024 Tinfoil hat time. At an Arizona rally last week, around 20 attendees who were seated in bleachers behind and to the left of Donald Trump had to go to the emergency room after the event. Most complained of pain and swelling in their eyes and even partial blindness. According to the Arizona Globe: While the rally drew a large and enthusiastic crowd, it ended with an unexpected turn of events. Approximately 20 attendees, primarily members of the “Latinos for Trump” group who had been onstage, reported becoming ill with mysterious symptoms shortly after the rally concluded. All those who reported falling ill were seated on the side of the stage where Trump made his entrance before approaching the podium. Pastor Eli Moreno, who opened the rally with prayer, and his wife, Francesca Moreno, were among those affected. Pastor Moreno said that he experienced mild discomfort, but his wife’s symptoms were far more severe. On their drive home, Mrs. Moreno’s nose began to run, her vision blurred, and her face swelled up. They stopped at a Walgreens and encountered another rallygoer with similar symptoms. Mrs. Moreno stated that emergency room doctors flushed her eyes earlier and referred her to an ophthalmologist. Five days later, she was just beginning to feel better. Mayra Rodriguez, another attendee, also fell ill 30 minutes after leaving the rally, experiencing burning eyes and a severe headache. By the time she arrived at the emergency room, she could no longer open her eyes. After performing a dye test, the doctor informed her that she had suffered a chemical burn. Days later, she continued suffering from blurry vision and light sensitivity. Several other attendees shared similar stories with The Arizona Globe. The reported symptoms, including blurred vision, severe eye pain, and facial swelling, appeared roughly 30 minutes after the rally ended. One attendee used milk to ease the burning before heading to the hospital, while another reported his face turning red and peeling. They stated that the emergency room staff told them they were not alone—multiple patients from the rally had come in with the same complaints. As of yesterday, Tuscan Police had not indicated they were investigating the possible crime. After posting the story on The Liberty Daily and America First Report, I received an email from a reader: My first take on the eye injuries at the latest Trump Rally is likelyhood of an infared (non-seeable) laser was aimed at Trump but injuring those behind him. These injuries were common during the Gulf War (1992) when infrared targeting lasers swept the desert battlefield day and night. One cannot tell immediately when exposed but later when the eye inflammation starts. The laser-eye injury threat was largely why desert soldiers wore protective eyewear day and night. At night the iris is more open and allows more eye damage. See Military Aerospace. I then looked into multiple sources regarding infrared laser weapons and it all jibed. IF someone was positioned in front of and to the right of Trump and IF they had some sort of device that emitted infrared lasers, it's possible that the people behind Trump would have been hit. The results would have been exactly what we're seeing reported... though not nearly reported enough since very few outside of The Gateway Pundit and a handful of others are touching the story. ________________________________________________________ "Great danger lies in the notion that we can reason with evil." Dunno what the USSS course is but the FBI course is laughabley easy. It seems it very well could be an attack with an infrared laser pointer, their symptoms are more consistent with severe sun burns rather than a chemical attack. https://www.americanthinker.co...ndestine_weapon.html "I’m not going to read Time Magazine, I’m not going to read Newsweek, I’m not going to read any of these magazines; I mean, because they have too much to lose by printing the truth"- Bob Dylan, 1965

Georgia Election Board Approves Rule Requiring Hand Count Of Ballots https://www.zerohedge.com/poli...g-hand-count-ballots The Georgia Election Board has approved a new rule requiring election workers to hand count ballots in the November election and confirm that the numbers match machine counts before the vote can be certified. The rule, which was first proposed in August, passed in a 3–2 vote on the morning of Sept. 20, making Georgia the only state in the union to adopt such a requirement as part of its standard vote-counting. The new hand-count regulation was, at the time of reporting, the first of 11 that the board was set to vote on Friday. The others include a proposal that absentee ballots be visually distinct from other types of ballots, and another that requires poll workers to record the number of ballots cast from in-person scanners and reconcile those numbers to ensure accurate reporting of votes. Advocates have framed the proposed rules as common-sense measures to bolster election security. Supporters of the hand-count rule, specifically, have argued it would help increase public trust in the voting process. Critics, such as the Georgia Association of Voter Registration and Election Officials (GAVREO), say the proposed rules are, on the whole, impractical, poorly written, and inefficient in achieving their intended goals. “We respectfully ask that these proposed rules, and any other petitions for rulemaking, be tabled until 2025,” the group wrote in a Sept. 17 letter to the election board. GAVREO also expressed specific concern about the new hand-count rule, arguing in the letter that it could cause delays and introduce errors. “We continue to oppose the rules for the reasons we have previously stated including: the rule’s potential to delay results; set fatigued employees up for failure; and undermine the very confidence the rule’s author claims to seek,” the group wrote. Chris Carr, Georgia’s Attorney General, issued a letter on Sept. 18 stating that the proposed rules may be inconsistent with existing laws. “A review of the proposed rules reveals several issues including that several of the proposed rules, if passed, very likely exceed the Board’s statutory authority and in some instances appear to conflict with the statutes governing the conduct of elections,” he wrote. “Where such is the case, and as outlined below, the Board risks passing rules that may easily be challenged and determined to be invalid.” The letter from Carr’s office addressed the hand-count rule, stating that the statutes referenced in support of the rule do not allow for hand-counting ballots at the precinct level before they are delivered to the election superintendent for official tabulation. “Accordingly, these proposed rules are not tethered to any statute—and are, therefore, likely the precise type of impermissible legislation that agencies cannot do,” the letter states. Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger has also expressed concern that last-minute rule changes could introduce confusion on election night. “Activists seeking to impose last-minute changes in election procedures outside of the legislative process undermine voter confidence and burden election workers,” he said in a statement in mid-August. At a rally in August in Atlanta, former President Donald Trump praised the three Republican members of the Georgia Election Board, calling them “pit bulls fighting for honesty, transparency and victory.” The Epoch Times has reached out to the Georgia Election Board with a request for comment on the criticism of the hand-count rule and the other proposals. _________________________ "Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on or by imbeciles who really mean it." Earlier posts in this thread said that affected folks were taken to emergency rooms. So what did the medical professionals say was the nature of the cause? I haven’t seen a single report from medical professionals. Just guesses from lay people with no direct knowledge of the event. Serious about crackers

The main difference between Trump supporters and Kamala supporters is that we are thinkers and they are "feelers." We process our political opinions based on understanding. If Trump says that he will strengthen our economy, we want to know how he will do so. And he tells us specifics. He will put tariffs on foreign goods pouring into our country. He will cut taxes, including taxes on tips, and taxes on overtime pay. So we think through what he says, conclude that it makes sense, and support him. To us it is a joke that Kamala keeps repeating, in response to how to strengthen the economy,"Let me start with this. I was a middle-class girl..." We think that at some point they will see through her rational emptiness and abandon her. But, no. They don't care about plans. What they want is to be swept away by gushing feelings of joy and compassion, hope and change. This was all on display in her interview with Oprah. It was not about political positions and plans. It was all about hugging, smiling, giggling, and teary eyes. A big mud puddle of joy in which these children wallow and splash. This is why we can't reach them. We are not going to get into that puddle. And they are not going to sit up like grown ups and think. This message has been edited.
