Last night was one of those nights that I checked in on Uzi Talk and learned of the passing of a great man.

Tom Wright aka Vegas SMG passed away October 28th.
The COVID booster triggered a reaction in Tom known as Guillain–Barré syndrome.
He was in critical care in the hospital around 3 weeks.
It was posted that he passed away holding the hands of his two daughters.

I spoke with Tom when I purchased a CF-W “A” bolt from him a bit over a year ago.
The cost of tungsten had skyrocketed and it took Tom awhile to get it for manufacturing of his bolts.
Most of the tungsten was being imported from China.

We talked about SMG’s for about an hour with Tom sharing a wealth of knowledge on the M-11/Nine and other submachine guns.
Tom didn’t speak casually about SMG’s, he spoke passionately.
I would have loved to have met him in person.

I had sent Tom a money order with tracking.
Tom mentioned that the postman would not deliver the letter to his mailbox at the end of a long driveway.
He said that he did not like to go into the Post Office due to COVID.
He asked that I not send mail with tracking the next time.
Thinking back on that conversation it is a bit ironic and sad, that with as much care as he evidently took to avoid COVID, COVID still took his life, via the COVID Booster.

Rest In Peace Tom.

The Texas senator Ted Cruz led conservatives in condemnation of a much-loved public figure for advocating Covid-19 vaccinations for children. Big Bird.

This week saw final US approval for five- to 11-year-olds to receive the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid vaccine. Sesame Street, which has offered Covid advice before, duly deployed its popular characters to encourage parents to protect their children.

Big Bird, who despite his vast size and to some slightly overbearing mien is according to the beloved show perpetually six-and-a-half-years-old, announced on Saturday that he had been vaccinated.

“I got the Covid-19 vaccine today!” the hulkingly benevolent yellow avian announced, using an appropriate communications platform, Twitter.

“My wing is feeling a little sore, but it’ll give my body an extra protective boost that keeps me and others healthy. [CNN reporter] Erica Hill even said I’ve been getting vaccines since I was a little bird. I had no idea!”

Cruz responded: “Government propaganda … for your 5 year old!”

Other rightwingers piled in. Lisa Boothe, a Fox News contributor, said “brainwashing children who are not at risk from Covid” was “twisted”.

Children are at risk from Covid, if less so than adults. In October, the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said 66 children aged between five and 11 had died from Covid-19 in the US. Children can infect others and infections in the five to 11 age group are rising, the CDC said, accounting for 10.6% of new Covid cases.

Undeterred, Steve Cortes, a host on the conservative Newsmax network, said of Big Bird’s tweet: “This kind of propaganda is actually evil. Your children are not statistically at risk, and should not be pressured into a brand new treatment. Do Not Comply!”

Resistance to vaccine mandates and other Covid public health measures persists in Republican states, despite a US death toll of more than 753,000 from a caseload of almost 46.5m.

On Saturday, a conservative judge in New Orleans issued a temporary stay on a federal rule which says businesses with more than 100 employees must demand vaccinations or weekly testing. The Biden administration said it was confident it would prevail.

Some might argue fighting against the corruption of young minds is a battle worth fighting--even if it is a lost cause.

I say it's a lost cause because PBS and the Muppetmasters are going to do what they're going to do--regardless of whether it's actually good for children or not, and the dominant media is going to support whatever that is.

But that doesn't mean what they're doing isn't worth being brought to light.

It's just another case of the left speaking with forked tongue. They'll rant and rail against commercial interests unduly influencing childrens' minds, then turn right around and do the same thing in their own interests.

Newsmax has no vaccine mandate nor do we require it for employment.
We have informed our staff of the upcoming federal rule.
At the same time we have notified staff we will create an easy opt-out for any employee who does not want to be vaccinated.

Under the rule, any employee who is not vaccinated will be tested for COVID on a weekly basis.

Newsmax is going beyond the OSHA rule to provide free weekly testing on its company premises.

We have idiots driving the country here. But it's not limited to here. We know about NZ and Australia.

I watch considerable korean TV - they have some interesting storylines. But I encounter a lot of head scratching behavior. Their pandemic policies of course. But also things like (observed but not verified): their LEOs use revolvers and the first round is blank (they need to shoot off a warning round); self defense seems to be frowned upon (resulting in penalties for the defendant, not just the assailant); the driver is reasonable for ALL pedestrian incidents (even if the pedestrian is clearly at fault) - drivers are responsible for damages (the only remedy is to go to some sort of appeals court rending dashcams not just valuable but crucial). I saw this last on a variety show and this is what the legal expert (a lawyer) conveyed.

We observe the idiocracy here. But it seems prevalent everywhere. There is no escaping the lunacy any where on earth. Even countries with supposedly leading edge technologies.

This is the pandemic of the vaccinated.

Photos showed at least one protester getting pepper-sprayed in the face, while others tussled and at least one person was seen receiving medical attention from police while lying on the ground.

Two people were arrested during the confrontations, cops said. The official police reports haven't been filed but a spokesperson for the Boston PD told DailyMail.com they would likely be charged with disorderly conduct.

Several protesters were holding flags that said 'Death To Fascism' as well as flags displaying the hammer and sickle.

Another video from a local news reporter shows Antifa members yelling 'Nazis Out!' to people inside of a U-Haul van trying to leave the event.

The Antifa members attempted to troll speakers and demonstrators by blaring loud music and playing instruments.

‘It’s the Vaccines. It Has to Be’: Adverse Reactions to Covid Jabs Likely to Blame for Hospitals Suddenly Being Flooded Across the Globe

“We’ve had discussions amongst ourselves, but nobody is willing to take our concerns to the admins,” a doctor in Maine told me during a Zoom interview this weekend. “About half of us think it’s the vaccines while the other half says it’s a combination of factors. All we know is we’ve never seen the constant flow of heart and lung conditions hitting our ER, not like this, not every single day and night.”

The doctor, who chose halfway through our interview to remain anonymous for fear of repercussions at their hospital, was referring to the sharp increase in emergency room visits they’ve seen in recent weeks. It’s a nonstop flow of serious medical issues that often have no clear reason for occurring. Heart attacks in particular have gone from one or two per week to daily entries in the ER logs.

“It’s funny because I’m telling you this, annoyed at my peers for not speaking out, and even now I’m having second thoughts about talking to you,” the doctor said. “I can’t believe that we’re not allowed to ask the most basic scientific questions or follow the most obvious trail that could lead us to an inconvenient solution.”

That solution, of course, is to halt vaccinations for most if not all. After further discussion with the doctor, we decided to move forward with the interview for the purpose of writing the article but not to use the doctor’s name. It was disappointing, but I understand the desire to not put their career at risk unnecessarily. Besides, the data is clear enough that even a layman can and should start asking questions.

Across the nation and around the world, hospitals are reporting jam-packed emergency rooms with no beds available and treatments taking place in hallways. Reports are coming in from every developed nation and it seems to be the same basic story across the board: Emergency rooms filling up, it’s not Covid-19, and nobody knows why.

“It’s the vaccines. It has to be,” our doctor said. “I can understand other departments getting surges because people are coming in for procedures that have been holding off, but ER is ER. You can’t convince me that so many people are coming in with cardiac arrests and blood clots and it’s not the vaccines that are causing it.”
