A video of Christians meeting at Walmart, reportedly in North Versailles, Pennsylvania, has gone viral on the internet.

The Christians were banned from meeting at their church thanks to Governor Wolf so they took to Walmart to come together in worship.

The video is originally from June.

Bad medicine: Fauci's HCQ Waterloo

Dr. Anthony Fauci has been hailed in the press as the nation's top infectious disease expert. He's been feted with presidential honors and high praise for his medical acumen. His policy disagreements with President Trump, supposedly as the voice of "science," have made him a hero on the left. Such laurels and the implied power conveyed have led to some weird side-effects — such as his image featured on ladies' underwear and declarations that he's the sexiest man alive.

He's still being posterized on the left with calls to "Thank Dr. Fauci." Here's one:

Screenshot, banner ad.

But it's about time this idol topples, based on this summary about Fauci's startlingly bad medicine and bad medical policy on COVID, which has in fact cost thousands of lives. And yes, he is very specifically to blame.

Virologist Steven Hatfill, writing in RealClearPolitics, summed up just how disastrous Fauci has been for America's COVID response, based on Fauci's suppression of evidence about hydroxychloroquine, the safest and most effective treatment for COVID based on all reputable studies, and the political power he's used to halt its treatment even as the rest of the world got well from the inexpensive medication's use.

The "Fauci Strategy" was to keep early infected patients quarantined at home without treatment until they developed a shortness of breath and had to be admitted to a hospital. Then they would they [sic] be given hydroxychloroquine. The Food and Drug Administration cluelessly agreed to this doctrine and it stated in its hydroxychloroquine Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) that "hospitalized patients were likely to have a greater prospect of benefit (compared to ambulatory patients with mild illness)."

In reality just the opposite was true. This was a tragic mistake by Fauci and FDA Commissioner Dr. Stephen Hahn and it was a mistake that would cost the lives of thousands of Americans in the days to come.

Other countries got well from COVID. But America didn't. America today is still floundering around on lockdowns, re-lockdowns, its schools shut, its election growing dubious. And the persistence of the pandemic can directly be traced to the incompetent, bad medical decisions of Dr. Anthony Fauci, which have left America a COVID wasteland while the rest of the world got well.

America's death rate from COVID in fact is shockingly high, hitting 150,000 as of July 29, while other countries, which have also been hit by the pandemic, such as Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea, Turkey, Morocco, Malaysia, and Costa Rica, plus European countries such as Switzerland, have got the matter well under control, with no comparable death counts. The difference is in their use of HCQ, or hydroxychloroquine. And those are mostly well developed or high-middle-income countries. What's really shocking is that third-world hellholes are doing better, too, if they can get their hands on and use HCQ. The U.S., under Fauci, has been left in the dust.

Here in our country, Fauci continued to ignore the ever accumulating and remarkable early-use data on hydroxychloroquine and he became focused on a new antiviral compound named remdesivir. This was an experimental drug that had to be given intravenously every day for five days. It was never suitable for major widespread outpatient or at-home use as part of a national pandemic plan. We now know now that remdesivir has no effect on overall COVID patient mortality and it costs thousands of dollars per patient.

Hydroxychloroquine, by contrast, costs 60 cents a tablet, it can be taken at home, it fits in with the national pandemic plan for respiratory viruses, and a course of therapy simply requires swallowing three tablets in the first 24 hours followed by one tablet every 12 hours for five days.

There are now 53 studies that show positive results of hydroxychloroquine in COVID infections. There are 14 global studies that show neutral or negative results — and 10 of them were of patients in very late stages of COVID-19, where no antiviral drug can be expected to have much effect. Of the remaining four studies, two come from the same University of Minnesota author. The other two are from the faulty Brazil paper, which should be retracted, and the fake Lancet paper, which was.

Hatfill points out that media malfeasance, badmouthing the use of HCQ, is an important aspect of why Fauci has gotten away with such shockingly bad medicine. The press loves Fauci, and Fauci knows how to use the press. Against all evidence and study after study, the press continues to report HCQ as "dangerous" and patients are going without and dying as a result. Hatfill writes:

This is ground-shaking news. Why is it not being widely reported? Why is the American media trying to run the U.S. pandemic response with its own misinformation?

The ultimate culprit here is Fauci. Everyone else worldwide gets well, while here in the States, under his policy recommendations and touting of bad medicine, we continue to wallow in the pandemic, the bodies piling up. Why isn't this ground-shaking news, too? This isn't making America great again; this is New York's Gov. Andrew Cuomo seeding the nursing homes with COVID patients cubed, tremendously bad policy that is literally costing Americans their lives, and all for political purposes.

It's probably going to be hard for President Trump to find a way to fire this guy, but the picture emerging is extremely disturbing. Fauci's suppression of hydroxychloroquine studies, his odd devotion to the new and profitable drug Remdesivir (which we have noted many NIH officials hold monetary stakes in), and Fauci's earlier papers from years back touting the importance of hydroxychloroquine on other kinds of COVID viruses paint a damning picture of what is going on, a horrible confluence of financial interests and a desire to extend the pandemic to Get Trump at a huge cost of lives. It's time to start thinking about how to get him out of there, fire him, bring in someone serious about using the widely known global knowledge about HCQ who's willing to move on it. This much incompetence is doing tremendous damage to President Trump and American people, both lives and economy. Get him out of there, he now stands exposed as a complete incompetent and has got to go. If Harry Truman could fire the vaunted Douglas MacArthur, Trump can fire Fauci, too.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Yesterday, during an interview, our idiot governor here in Texas said that the case numbers were going down and maybe the mask order could be lifted by the new year. I was a strong supporter of Abbott but he has gone full retard now. First, he follows the other governors with a lockdown then the mask order and now it’s an order that depends on him picking some arbitrary number of cases that he likes before it’s lifted. So now the holiday season will come around and people will still be fully masked up for the death plaque. I don’t want my children out Christmas shopping in a place that looks like fucking China.
I’m so sick of this shit. I call his office everyday but it does no good when over half the fucking state loves wearing a mask. What the hell has happened to people? I’m so disgusted.

Absolutely agree. His handling of HDQ is the least of it. If he is the face of CV in the US, and the US's experience/handling is so bad compared to the rest of the world-he has to go.

Trump is vilified no matter what, even if Trump himself developed a vaccine and gave it away for free, he'd still be orange man bad.

Mr President, move on from DrF ( give him a grade of F too). Find someone who is not only medically competent, but an advocate for reopening and making America Great Again.

But look at this for exactly what it is. The media as a whole has colluded to promote, and continually support nothing but pure propaganda, and look how well it's worked with a huge majority of this country. They have convinced huge majorities of this country, against all the real data and common sense, that if you are exposed to the virus you die. A virus with a less than 2% current mortality rate has been manufactured into a world ending crisis like no other purely through deceit and pursuit of an agenda. The virus doesn't scare me at all. The idiocy, cowardice, and weakness of the American people scares the hell out of me.

Well, here I am last week at over 10,000 feet elevation deep in the High Uinta Mountains. Look just over my shoulder. He wasn't the only one I saw up there wearing a face diaper either. It really makes you wonder if these people will ever come back down to reality.

I hike up a local "mountain" (1100 foot elevation change) about once a week. Last time I was going up and down I saw all of two people. One was wearing a mask. In Arizona, during the day, when the UV will give you a sunburn in minutes and destroys plastics.

Our RINO governor has shut down bars, waterparks, tubing and gyms until further notice. A gym successfully challenged him in court, so he appealed the court's order to provide SOME criteria for the gyms to re-open! Now you can still go to restaurants that have bars, casinos, public pools not at water parks, and Lake Havasu (basically a giant party on the water).

I understand that he apparently has never seen the inside of a gym, judging from his appearance and wouldn't personally want to go somewhere he'd have to take off his shirt. I got no explanation for the bar ban. Maybe he thinks that's where the deplorables go to drink.

The schools aren't going to re-open until we have two weeks of declining case numbers, EXCLUDING the current week, which coincidentally had declining case numbers, so at least 3 weeks from now (we would normally have started school by now). School age people (up to 24 years of age) have fatalities in single digits a week, out of 80 million students in this country.

The video of Pelosi and Woodruff illustrates perfectly how weak minded Pelosi and most of the Democrats are. They sense the slightest pushback in the form a question that is even slightly challenging in nature and they can’t take it. They can’t express themselves in the arena of ideas.

They want to have their say and that’s it. No discussion. None of these Democrats or any Republicans that I can think of could withstand one hour of the onslaught Donald Trump has endured for nearly four years now. Not only does he endure it he revels in it and then trolls them even more on the back side. This is what drives them to the brink of insanity.

Border chief says illegal immigrants shirking duty to world by spreading coronavirus

By Stephen Dinan - The Washington Times - Thursday, August 6, 2020

The administration’s top border official said Thursday that illegal immigrants have a duty to the world to stop coming to the U.S. during the COVID-19 pandemic, saying some of them are making the trip knowing they have the disease and risk spreading it far and wide.

Mark Morgan, acting head of Customs and Border Protection, said illegal border crossings rose about 25% in July compared with a month earlier.

Mr. Morgan said dozens are packed inside stash houses and motel rooms, or stuffed into trunks or tractor-trailers, which he called “perfect incubators for COVID-19.”

CBP encountered nearly 41,000 people attempting to enter the U.S. without permission last month, up from fewer than 33,000 in June. It’s the highest number recorded so far this year, and it signals the end to a lull in illegal immigration. Numbers plummeted in April and May during the height of the coronavirus crisis.

More than 90% of those nabbed are being processed and shipped out of the country immediately, with a two-hour turnaround for most.

The others are, in most instances, special humanitarian cases, such as children who appear to have been abused or trafficked.

The expulsions are happening because the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention triggered part of the Public Health Act, which the administration says allows rejection of any unauthorized migrants.

From March through the end of July, a little more than 98,000 have been expelled under those powers, known as Title 42 because of the section of law they are written into.

By contrast, only about 8,500 were accepted into CBP custody as regular illegal immigrants.

Good grief I am getting tired of my fellow Melbournians stupid shit.

36 days to the end of stage 4 lockdown.

What's becoming apparent during this particular frenzy of stupid, is that Melbourne is becoming a tale of two cities.

The inner suburbs, populated by the progressive and affluent, have a new religion of mask wearing and shutting down businesses.
Borders on the edge of torpidity. Not a new quality or condition mind you.

If you have an individual thought or expression on that side, you feel like your behind the lines of demarcation.

Meanwhile in the other suburbs, the west and south-east, many appear to have ceased to give a rat's patootie.
Stopped listening or caring.

Stay at home orders ignored.
The harder the lockdown edict, the more some are resisting.

Since the virus escaped quarantine, with no real ability to track/trace the early spread, the measures that followed to counter and suppress are more reflective of a political infection, with no idea where the virus is coming from or going to.

"Where's Waldo" has a challenger for that position.

As patients are transferred between hospitals, there are differing protocols.

Health databases are inadequate.

And allowing at risk people, who were waiting on test results, to go forth, exercise and mingle in the community.

I can go on and on.

To wind this vent up, the public Health officials, are the ones who should resign.

end of opinion

We have a new order, apparently issued at the county level, to wear face diaper abortions inside buildings (grocery stores and the like). I have some on hand and take one with me but don't put it on. Except for one checker-outer in a Kroger - as I was paying and about to leave anyway, and whom I ignored - nobody has said anything. I did play the game while voting in yesterday's primary election.
