To these people I say, you don't know jack shit about what's really happening right now and I am not listening to you. I'm not wearing a mask- now or ever and I don't care about your new buzzwords and pointless "precautions".

These cloth designer masks are equivalent to those little yellow rubber bracelets people used to wear, showing that they are fighting cancer, making themselves feel good, and showing people that they are aware.

If you still helped her, you have more patience than me. I would have told her to help herself then (or maybe something more colorful) and turned and walked off.

If she'd have been 18-50 I might have, but she was every bit of 70 and with a scooter thing (and a riding mower).

I took one for the team.

Well, NC is finally opening up for it's phase one on Friday. It still isn't far enough...if a business can open with 50% capacity, why not a restaurant? Parks and trails are already open and why are churches limited to outdoors? it's better than nothing but I still say our governor is a f"ing idiot!

Most businesses can reopen
Retail businesses can open at 50% capacity with frequent cleaning and social distancing
Parks and trails are encouraged to reopen
Certain businesses (gyms, salons, bars, theaters, etc.) will remain closed
Restaurants continue to be take out and delivery only
Gatherings are still limited to 10 people, but gatherings with friends outdoors are allowed
employers are still encouraged to telework when possible
Childcare centers that follow strict cleaning requirements can open for working parents or those looking for work
Worship services of more than 10 can be held only outdoors with distancing.

I've had a few neighbor incidents too. I walked up to one neighbor I've known for 10 years and I was easily ten feet away when he got dead serious and exclaimed, "Six feet! Six feet"!

Another neighbor and his wife came out from hiding to observe that I was longboarding with my son (think oversized skateboards with fatter wheels) in the empty church parking lot behind our house. The look on their faces while we enjoyed the warm sun with NO MASKS ON, was priceless.

Oh well, maybe less friends is good right now.

LOL....you did a nice thing. My mom is 91 and grew up in the depression and thru WW2 and thinks all these people running around with masks and being so worried about distancing are idiots and will not live in fear like they are.

Missouri Residents That Snitched on Their Neighbors Are Suddenly Regretting Their Decision

Residents in Missouri were encouraged to snitch on businesses that broke Gov. Mike Parson's (R) stay-at-home orders. A website and email address were launched so residents could anonymously report non-essential businesses being open. What residents didn't expect, however, was for their personal information to be released.

Under Missouri's Sunshine Law, members of the public can access records and meetings. Jared Totsch decided to file a Sunshine Law request. When he received the information, he shared the information on Facebook.

“Here ya go. The gallery of snitches, busybodies, and employees who rat out their own neighbors and employers over the Panic-demic," the Facebook post stated.

Those who made the reports seemed to miss the disclaimer at the bottom of the online form:

“I have been advised that this form and any other communication may be considered an open record pursuant to the Sunshine Law, Chapter 610 RSMo. St. Louis County may be required to release this form as well as other communications as a matter of law upon request by any member of the public, including the media.”

oooops

“If they are worried about retaliation, they should have read the fine print which stated their tips would be open public record subject to a Sunshine request, and should not have submitted tips in that manner to begin with,” Totsch told KSDK-TV. “I released the info in an attempt to discourage such behavior in the future.”

People are fed the fuck up. When you have a former lefty calling the bullshit out, it's time to rethink things. Whitmer et al are in trouble come election day. Curious about this crap happening in TX? Figures they'd err on the side of personal freedom/responsibility?

Public justice. The best kind. From the article:

quote:
“When there is something that happens next time, I'm not going to feel safe or protected enough to call the local authorities.”

So at least the moral of the story wasn't lost on her. My takeway is "mind your own damn business, and if your health condition makes going to a place dangerous, don't freakin' go there."

Essential difference between a leftist and a sane person? Sane person doesn't like something, they don't participate. Leftist doesn't like something, they ban it and turn in the counter-revolutionary agitators to the secret police.

IN been in pretty good shape.
Opening things back up, but the plan goes out to July 4th before things are opened completely (If things go well).

Two months minimum!

Fed-Up Pilot Sends Michigan Governor a Clear Message with Flight Path

Michigan Democrat Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has become the face of the meaningless lockdown requirement.

For instance, most of us might grumble at lockdowns but concede they’re rational if done appropriately. Few, however, would concede that an entire massive state needs the same lockdown requirements when only a cluster of urban counties constitute the majority of cases.

Also, when it comes to lockdown requirements, they should be as limited as necessary, obviously — and related to public health. Why, then, were gardening supplies part of her extended order?

Well, I hope you like it, Michiganders, because Whitmer plans to keep her order in place until at least May 28 — even as states with less-dense populations start opening up.

Ed Frederick, a 45-year-old licenses pilot and owner of a small business, is sick of it. So, on Friday, he took off and landed in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with his small plane, according to the New York Post. What he did in the hour he was up in the air made news.

He didn’t have a banner or anything like that. Instead, he sent a message via his flight path — tracing the letters “F-U” with an arrow he said was pointed at the governor’s mansion:

“It’s a power trip,” Frederick, who lives outside of Grand Rapids, told the Post.

“The government, no matter Democrats or Republicans, always seem like they’re trying to do something just to prove they’re doing something, without weighing the ramifications.”

Donald Trump is not a politician, he is a leader, politicians are a dime a dozen, leaders are priceless.
