I got a package from FedEx yesterday.

It was actually for me and was the first one they delivered to my address since October.

So now they are 1 for 4. YAY!

Q: Why doesn't Tony Soprano's crew like Jehovah's Witnesses?

A: The Soprano crew doesn't like any witnesses.

I stopped at McDonald's this morning for coffee and a bite to eat. A rather striking young woman was waiting for her order next to me. The cashier was a young man of about 19-20, and he was absolutely stupefied by the sight of her. I let him stare at her for about a minute before snapping him out of it.

It rained most of Sunday morning in Tucson and since we're in the desert, we need the rain.

History suggests ignoring parabellum when he's made a point or asked a question is no more a winning strategy than trying to bullshit him.

Most of the winter we didn't have much "winter" at all. Now, here we are, the beginning of March, and we're getting hammered <smh>

I may have to get out there around midnight and do an intermediate clearing. Yay.

During last night's serious storm here in north Texas, I experienced about 3 hours of no power. My cats and I just sat by waiting. Tornadoes had been prophesied and I didn't have a way to check, so called my best friend up in Denison to have him keep an eye on it for me. (He was working in a weather coordination center, as it happened.) There were tornadoes, but not in my area. Winds of up to 85mph and quarter-sized hail, some places.

Vthoky, enjoy the break and good luck on your new job. The business I worked for for almost 33 years was just sold at the end of the year and I start my new job this Monday. I have appreciated the time off between jobs.

Some kids were caught stealing an Amazon package that was delivered to an unoccupied home in our neighborhood. There was a phone and a credit card in the package. Once the kids realized that there was a credit card inside, they ran. The police were called and they came out and spoke with the kids about stealing packages off people's porches.

The side story to this is that the package was not ordered by the person it was addressed to. The homeowner's identity was stolen and the scammers weren't able to grab the package off the porch before the kids got to it.

Do I want to spend $300+ / ticket to see a 78 year old Eric Clapton Play the guitar?

Saw him back in the 90’s and it was one of the greatest concerts I ever attended; just don’t see him doing an arena setting anymore.
