Leftists will vote for anything with a pulse, as long as they're told to do so. This is not news.

It is good to live in Florida. That shit weasel Crist got stomped by DeSantis and his former house seat was flipped red by A veteran Anna Paulina Luna. I count those as a big win. I think what happened in Florida to turn it red is that people saw what is possible when you have good effective leadership rather than politics as usual.

I’m trying to make sense of Arizona, and I can’t. The Senate seat I can rationalize, but the governorship…?

And over 3 million PA voters stayed home out of 8.5 million.

How many were Republicans who basically gave up on the election process because of their states participation in the 2020 fraud??

I don't think it was because of fraud as much as we pretty much had shit to vote for, and people are getting tired of voting for the candidate that's the least unlikable. That's not a good excuse for not voting though.

My point is I see a trend last night, something very typical for mid terms anyways- low voter turnout. Even in this extremely important election for Republicans.

I think a lot of Republicans across the country just stayed home because they think their votes would be nulled anyways because of fraud.

But the disturbing thing about our election here is that only 8 million Texans voted in this election out of 16 million registered voters. 8 million registered voters stayed home in this extremely important cycle.

Iirc only about 13% turned out for the last midterm…so 50% of all voters is huge

And the big cities are overwhelmingly blue.

I'm not certain there's even a point to me voting in Michigan anymore.

Georgia's Senate race looks likely to go to a runoff in a month due to the 50% requirement.
The only joy there, if Walker ends up pulling it out, is that Wornock's rubber stamp will be out of action and Senate control out of Chuck Schumer's hands. I won't feel well represented in any other respect.

A reasonably competent candidate should have easily beat Warnock but unfortunately the party seemed to think Georgia Bulldog fans from 40+ years ago and the ethnic vote could overcome anything. We'll see.

Don't know what to say about Pennsylvania. It appears a trained seal could have won that one.

It’s the voters more than the candidates. It’s the ‘californication’ of much of the country.

One needs the mindset of pressing on regardless of politics. Take care of yourself & family.

The next option is to move to a red area, if that suits you.

Right now I still want to see the Republicans take the House, let Brandon work for anything passed.

Strange election and almost unbelievable that Democrats are still enjoying that level of support from voters. I'm sure there's many lessons that can be culled from the results. One takeaway is that propaganda really is effective...24/7 agitation and propaganda does have an impact. Another interesting aspect was the vote in Florida...DeSantis basically showed how its done. I'm starting to think the GOP is going to have to nominate someone other than Trump to win in 2024...the establishment media is simply vetoing Trump as a candidate...not sure that level of hatred and opposition can be overcome.

I think the thing here in PA is that the very small areas of Philly, Pitt, and Harrisburg are radical Dem strongholds & they easily outnumber the voters of the rest of the state. Sadly, we're just one of those blue states. I'd move to FL, but I don't like hurricanes.Smile

My vote, and as fortune would have it, my state did our parts for the cause.

With the polls closed, Idaho was red again with only a couple counties as exceptions.

Still shocked Fetterman won. Imagine a man is looking for a job and shows up wearing a hoddie, pulling his sleeves up to show his grocery store tats, would he even be considered for the job?
No more bellyaching from PA!

red wave my ass

I've had bigger waves in my swimming pool

to say this was a disappointment is an understatement

I didn't watch any coverage last evening due to the fact that my power went out about 4:30 and I had an airport meeting.

The only good thing about this bullshit is that its over, and now maybe I won't get 40 text ,messages a day from random numbers telling me my vote is important

The last two elections have told me quite clearly that my vote doesn't count.

The amount of fraud is moist likely staggering, and republicans had two years to figure it out, and yet they did nothing.

Fetterman wins in PA? Hochul in NY? Hobbs in AZ?

Unbelievable.

I blame the Republican Party of Kentucky, specifically the Jefferson County portion, for this. Under a back room deal that no one will publicly confirm, the Dems and Repubs agreed to let the Dems have both Jefferson County (Louisville) and Fayette County (Lexington) while the Repubs took the rest of the Commonwealth (except for the “keg of nails” winning Capital City—Frankfort).

Ever since the last Republican Mayor of the old City of Louisville left office in December 1968, the Dems have held sway for 54 continuous years (34 under old City, and 20 under Metro). The Repubs keep putting up half-assed efforts and ineffectual candidates. NOT ONCE during this entire election cycle did I hear or see anything about those continuous 54 years, and now we have out-of-control crime and skyrocketing murder rates and a pro-BLM/AntiFa police department.

Keep voting for the same stuff you’ve had for 54 years, and you’ll keep getting it. So don’t blame me when it all goes to Hell.
