Exit polls showed 73% of voters are not happy with the direction of the country (and yes I realize exit polls don't account for early mail-in ballots but nevertheless), yet they still pulled the lever for democrats? Strange election indeed. ~Alan Acta Non Verba NRA Life Member (Patron) God, Family, Guns, Country Men will fight and die to protect women... because women protect everything else. ~Andrew Klavan

AZ has 66% reporting and Kari Lake narrowed it within 12,000 votes of Hobbs, with hundreds of thousands left to count. Lombardo is on track to flip Nevada's governor seat to red. And it's tight, but with 73% reporting, Laxalt is ahead of Cortez Masto and could very well flip that Senate seat as well. ^^^^^^^^^ If Tshibaka can hold on to the lead in Alaska, we can get rid of Murkowski, who is essentially a Democrat with her voting record. There's a tiny glimmer of hope with Masters, but likely not. And if Laxalt can hang on and Nevada can be flipped, and are successful in the Georgia runoff, we have a chance at a 51-49 senate split. And it looks good that the House will be red "I’m not going to read Time Magazine, I’m not going to read Newsweek, I’m not going to read any of these magazines; I mean, because they have too much to lose by printing the truth"- Bob Dylan, 1965

We both know it's fraud. Current numbers sitting at: Arizona Governor 66% Est. Vote Counted Candidate Total Votes % Votes Katie Hobbs (D) 902,521 50.3% Kari Lake (R) 890,795 49.7% That is far closer than I believe it actually must be. I wasn’t expecting as much as others. I think too many voters do so ignorantly or with corrupted purpose. This is why pure democracies fail so spectacularly. I’ll accept the results of this election, but I reject almost half of my fellow citizens. You’re a lying dog-faced pony soldier

I tremble for my country when I consider that God is just. Also that young people voted overwhelmingly for Demoncrats, and in large numbers. It's great if the GOP gets more Latinos and Asians to vote for them, but in the end what matters is the aging out of the conservative majority. _________________________ “ What all the wise men promised has not happened, and what all the damned fools said would happen has come to pass.”— Lord Melbourne

Well clearly the current administration will make no changes to their direction or managers. Therefore things are gonna get a lot more painful. CPI tomorrow. I don't understand why Kari isn't a slam dunk. Why are people, even dems, voting for opposition? I don't understand the voting statistics here. My impression is that lots of people have moved out of this state. If true: 1. People leaving largely vote: a. People are R: state should see higher % of D votes, lower % of R votes. Receiving states should see stronger mix of R votes. b. People are D: state should see higher % of R votes, lower % of D votes. Perhaps not enough to turn tides, but at least a different mix. Receiving states should see stronger mix of D votes. 2. People leaving largely don't vote: a. State and receiving states should be indifferent. And yet, seems like this state has the same historical mix. And it seems like other states are seeing more blue. If so, how can this be true? Can this be true w/o fixed elections? If future elections look dismal, does this mean we're taking steps toward civil war? I'm a little depressed this morning now. I was hopeful but didn't really expect any change in this state. But seeing other states wavering, I'm not sure what to think. I've been looking forward to leaving this state and moving someplace free. But given the trends, I don't know where that would be anymore. Perhaps I should plan to make my last stand where I am. "Wrong does not cease to be wrong because the majority share in it." I'm just so pissed off and depressed today the the IDIOT voters of Pennsylvania chose to put a brain-damaged slug like Fetterman into the US Senate. WTF Once again, all the people on the dole in Philly and Pittsburgh vote to keep Santa Claus in office. We get EVERYTHING WE DESERVE that is coming as a result of this. Someone said it here somewhere and it keeps playing out here which is maddening; Satan himself could run on a platform that he will roast and eat your children but if he has that fucking (D) next to his name, the voters here will happily press that button for him.

Konata I agree completely. Dims have found a way to stuff ballot boxes on a national level and I don't think we will have another "fair" election. Fetterman is a perfect example. Kemp was a much better candidate than Walker. It's really that simple. Same thing in PA. Even though OZ lost, he still did much better than Mastriano.

Thank you Very little |
Was in Scottsdale this weekend for an event, I've never seen so many election signs out, turn on the morning news or any tv really and it is constant negative advertising over and over, Not one person we talked with said they were happy with the current AZ governor or Senator, all were voting against the incumbents. Nasty advertising was the key message for three days. Lucky we were out riding motorcycles, smoking cigars and gambling so other than the 4 million signs on the streets it got us away from the election...

I'm happy for those of you living in states with large Republican wins, but there is most definitely NO Red Tsunami or even a Red Wave here in Colorado, and instead a solid Blue streak. The vast majority of incumbents have won their re-election races, most by %10-%20 margins...however Republican Lauren Boebert is trailing in her race by @ %2, @ 3500 votes, with @ %93 of votes currently counted. The 2 other Republican reps. retained their seats by fairly decisive margins, but the same is true for the Democrat representatives. Several of the race votes are still being counted. Although mistakes were made here and there, by individual candidates, as a Republican combined team for both national and state offices, they were a solid, hard working, respectable, relatable, moderate Conservative slate... and should have been electable, especially by voters suffering in a state with some of the highest inflation, highest crime rates (several categories), and highest number of fentanyl deaths. As a slate, over the last year +, these Republicans have really learned and grown as candidates, and criss-crossed the state to meet voters in both large cities and tiny rural towns, while the Democrat elitists only hit the urban corridors with significant populations. It's too soon to know what impact it had at this point in the vote counts, but several MAGA Republicans that lost their Primaries, either ran as third party candidates or urged support for third party candidates, or witheld their support/endorsements until the final few days of the election...long after early voting began. As with many state and federal races across the US, Democrats funded third party candidates in several close races, including here in CO, in order to siphon votes from Republican candidates...and the strategy appears to continue to work. In the case of Secretary of State, the incumbent Democrat has frequently used her office to actively pursue the Democrat agenda, even soliciting illegal/ ineligible voters... not just once, but two separate occasions! The turn-over in the SoS office has been large, reportedly because she is so difficult to work with, unprofessional, and unorganized. And yet the Republican challenger for the SoS office, the most professionally experienced and professionally certified candidate I've ever seen run for this office, one committed to a non-biased administration if elected, was soundly defeated by double digits. Same is true for the State Treasurer race. The Democrat Governor and legislature passed a new gas tax earlier this year... but delayed implementing it until after the midterm elections. A TABOR (Tax Payer Bill of Rights) tax refund was scheduled to be refunded to CO voters Spring of 2023... but, through special legislation during these inflationary times, was released early, late in the Summer.. right before the midterms, so the Governor could sign his name to the refund checks and crow @ how much he sympathized with struggling voters and was sending them money (their own tax overpayments). This ballot included several Amendments & Propositions (my ballot was 3 pages front & back) and Colorado voters have voted to legalize psychedelics like mushrooms, voted to raise taxes on the "wealthy" to give ALL school kids lunches (including kids from wealthy families), voted to divert tax money towards "affordable housing" (which is effectively a tax increase)...and then voted to reduce the state income tax rate by a tiny amount...go figure. When I first moved here over 2 decades ago, there was an almost even split (%1-%2) between between the number of registered Democrats, registered Republicans, and Unaffiliated voters... however the number of Unaffiliated voters now greatly outnumbers registered voters, registered Democrats now come in second, and registered Republican voters in third place. In terms of counties/ square miles, Republicans have an overwhelming majority, but the city urban centers + the resort towns combine for the overwhelming Democrat majority...and it's obvious that Unaffiliated voters are pivotal in elections, with most voting with Democrats. Colorado has a ballot tracking system. Dropped my ballot off in the secure box @ 13:12 on election day. Received email notice that my ballot's status was "Received" at 22:22. As of this post, my ballot has not yet been counted. Just caught an interview with the County Clerk and Recorder and apparently @ one third of all registered voters in the county waited until election day to cast their ballots. He and his staff counted ballots for @ 20 hours, until early in the AM, before he finally sent his staff home for a few hours sleep, before resuming the vote count this AM, and @77,000 county ballots still to be counted.

Well, the voters in this district voted for a Dem who died a month ago, just so they wouldn't have to vote for the Republican, or easier yet, write somebody in. Yeah, we're doomed. https://www.foxnews.com/us/pen...d-despite-being-dead ------------------------------------------------ "It's hard to imagine a more stupid or dangerous way of making decisions, than by putting those decisions in the hands of people who pay no price for being wrong."
