It's as simple as this- bitching, whining, forecasting doom- none of these things do a thing to help, and they bring down those around you.

It is undignified for grown men to wallow in self-pity. I understand the indignation, and it's warranted in this situation, but there are ways to express these things as men. I'm not asking for stoicism on these pages; I am asking for restraint, for dignity and for careful consideration of what you post in threads such as this.

This is Greg's response to Tuesday's election results. From his show the next day. I like his upbeat response. He recognizes that we didn't get the "Red Wave" that we had hoped for, but he still sees the positive.

Every time I check back in on the count, Kari Lake falls behind by another couple thousand votes.

Nearly six days later and still counting. At this rate the new George R.R. Martin book will be out before we have the results of this election.

I watched the embed provided by synthplayer. I was commenting on the very attractive participant Emily Compagno. I've never seen her before. The "YEW" is a Letterkenny reference.

Funny you should mention that. I went through the application process to be a delegate to the last state GOP convention. I was a bit jarred when the last thing to come out of the committee member's mouth was "Well, your voting record is rock solid. You're in!"

We do know about it, and we do use it to keep ringers from sneaking in. We need to do a lot more (beyond fundraising mailers) to use the information to get out the vote - set up neighborhood level gatherings, put up handbills, focus door-to-door efforts a bit more on vote-rich neighborhoods, etc.

IMHO there are two things to watch out for. One, let's be honest - it's a public record but it can still come across as creepy when someone mentions having actually looked it up. The second, of course, is using it in ways that burn out peoples' tendencies to respond. IOW, no mailers, no year-round contacts, save going door-to-door for the last month or so before an election.

There are ballots and then there are votes.
That's why democrats are doing so well, ie they know the difference.

That's why democrats will not debate anymore, they don't need to look impressive and try to sway votes, they know they only need ballots.

Once a ballot is in the box the job is finished.
You can’t distinguish legal from illegal ballots.

It’s not who counts the votes, it’s who gets the most ballots in the box which is why recounts have little value.

Election integrity must come before the election.

Which reminds me of a purported story of what FDR told Lyndon Johnson when LBJ lost his bid for the Senate in 1941. He told him, "when the election is over, you have to sit on the ballot boxes.”

We need to start taking that advice and start sitting on damn boxes. That or cheat better than them, cause those bastards are always going to cheat just like LBJ did to win his next bid for the Senate in 1948.

For the last two years I've been asking a series of questions about many here complaining about election fraud. In my opinion you have three options.

1. Develop better messaging and tactics to win beyond the margin of fraud.

2. Develop a system that eliminates fraud.

3. Or learn to cheat better than your opponent.

Now up until this point number three has been roundly disagreed with on this forum, but the above post seems to indicate perhaps option 3 is now on the table?

That is right goose, you certainly have.

You fish for things you want people to say. For whatever your purpose is.

Most folks around here have long memories. They are not going to take your bait. That does not stop people like you from trying though. So keep fishing.

Thinking about you. You remind me of the recently departed 46and2.

Same sort of deal.

Oh, you want to know our thoughts? Sure, I've got a thought to share with you. I'm thinking that you have just come closer to getting banned on the spot from a single post, than any other member in the past few months.

Does that illuminate the playing field for ya?

How TF is Arizona still counting ballots?

Florida had theirs counted by like 10-11 pm THAT NIGHT like every other state used to before all this mail in ballot bullshit started.

It’s starting to remind me of Gore vs Bush when the Dems wanted to keep counting until Gore won and were told by the courts they had to stop.
