Interesting because Fox and the WSJ right now has Boebert leading 50.17% to Frisch 49.83% with 99% reporting, with 162,040 votes vs. 160,918.

By noon Saturday, they've counted another percent or so. Same rate of change, same approximate difference in tallies.

I took out most of the article which was rather pro Democrat. Those tallies were from earlier. You missed my lead in to the story which indicated she was now leading.

It seems the Dems are allowed to make such comments about Boebert but if someone were to say that about AOC there would be a press conference and an investigation.

How many times have I said this? Rein in your cynicism. It's depressing, it's old and tired and it serves no purpose but to bring people down.

You guys just refuse to get it, eh?

Refuse to get what? This is the reality. I’m not delusional. I get exactly what is happening. You can have your opinion. And everyone should have their own opinion. We suck again. I’m not mourning that, just re-stating what others have stated. The chin up be positive plan didn’t work this time.

Let me tell you- I'm no Pollyanna. My eyes are wide open.

Do you think I'm asking you guys to keep it to a low whimper because I think "positive vibes" will somehow transform the present circumstances?

It's as simple as this- bitching, whining, forecasting doom- none of these things do a thing to help, and they bring down those around you.

It is undignified for grown men to wallow in self-pity. I understand the indignation, and it's warranted in this situation, but there are ways to express these things as men. I'm not asking for stoicism on these pages; I am asking for restraint, for dignity and for careful consideration of what you post in threads such as this.

I'm not convinced they are legal ballots. Perhaps only in the loosest interpretation.

My sister is in a senior living facility, with lifelong cognitive disabilities that are now obvious dementia. Someone, somehow, registered her to vote. She received a mail in ballot for this election. She was completely baffled as to what the ballot was, and gave it to me along with all the other mail she doesn't understand, so I trashed it before anyone could vote it.

Anyone who spends 30 seconds with her would know she is not legally competent. Many in that facility are in the same condition.

It is easy to see how "legal" ballots could be acquired for fraudulent voting, and it's hard for me to see this as an honest situation.

Difference: Hobbs by 34,230.

Crunching those numbers a little more. Landon predicted Lake would get 68% of the remaining vote. Lake needs 57% of that remaining number. So an 11% buffer from Landon's prediction.

But my point is that they are not some kind of phony ballot that was printed in some back room, illegal printing press, they are not counterfeits.

These are official mail-in ballots that these states are just mailing out right and left with no checking if the person is dead, moved, etc.

And what you saw is exactly what’s happening. My in-laws host a guy with developmental disability, he lives in a home and they have him over for dinner on Sundays occasionally. He’s pretty high functioning, but cannot live on his own.

Back in 2020 he confessed us that he was more or less coerced to vote for Biden, even though he had wanted to vote for Trump. The person from the facility “assisting” him basically told him that he would lose everything if he voted for Trump and did he really want to do that?

Even though Fox and other media outlets are calling the senate race for Kelly, only 88.5% reporting, leaving 11.5%, at least a couple of hundred thousand ballots, seeming to match Wall's data. Masters still has a slim chance of victory. He has already stated he will not concede until all of the ballots are counted. And Lake is in for the long haul also.

Thanks, and I agree with Masters. No reason to give up hope if there still is hope.

Great! OR Seat 5 with Republican Chavez-DeRamer for the win.

One race in AZ, Prop 309 is not getting much press, but it looks like it is losing, with "No" leading.

A "Yes" vote requires making multiple changes to Arizona's voter identification and mail-in ballot policies, including requiring dates of birth and voter identification numbers for all mail-in ballots and eliminating the existing two-document alternative to photo ID for in-person voting.

Same percentage difference in the Lake/Hobbs race.

Interesting.

My commie son is registered as a Democrat. He receives mail from some organization exhorting him to vote whenever an election comes around, including primaries , they also have a record of each election he voted in.

I think the fact that registrations and even whether or not you voted being available as public information needs to stop. They are obviously using this information to generate ballots.

Our side needs to learn how to do this as well if we can't stop it.
